World War II ended in 1945.

With the lifting of material controls, the simplified details reverted to their original form,

and two years of this change are encapsulated in this

"Age of Longing 407EXX."

 

After the war ended in 1945, material controls were lifted,

and things gradually returned to their original state.

However, many denim fabrics used for wartime models remained in LEVI'S factories.

 

After these were used up, a new denim fabric was introduced, and here, what's noteworthy are "the fabric used for wartime denim" and "the new denim fabric."

 

Wartime denim is characterized by its blackish hue.

Many people probably feel the roughness of the fabric when they touch it, right?

 

On the other hand, the new denim fabric refers to the bluish denim fabric that you often see.

 

In 1947, two years after 1945...

LEVI'S released a new bluish fabric.

 

Focusing on this new fabric is what JELADO calls the white tag.

 

The denim fabric that focuses on this transitional period, from the end of the war until the switch to new denim, is the star of today's blog...

the black tag.

 

The denim fabric, made with uneven yarn, has a distinct texture and rough feel.

 

It is 15 oz.
