the Ol' Shanks Engineer Boot,

will have a TRUNK SHOW (made-to-order event)

held at our store.

　The model is the 10” Engineer Boot

　Sizes available are 

　US6.5 (24.5cm) to US11.0 (29.0cm)

　available in half-size increments.

 

The unique form and hand-dyed finish

make these a rare and unique pair of engineer boots.

 

Due to the limited production capacity,

production is mainly based on orders received

at one or two trunk shows per year.

 

The leather is Italian horsebutt.

The dense fiber structure, unlike cowhide in the horse's hip area,

and its suppleness create beautiful wrinkles.

Even the tiger stripes, scratches, and pinholes

often seen on its surface

become rich expressions unique to this leather.

 

The leather's expression and wrinkle patterns

vary from pair to pair, but I believe each is beautiful,

showcasing the individuality of this leather.

 

The boots are hand-dyed by Mr. Suzuki

and can be colored in five shades:

　Black, Walnut (dark brown)

　Mahogany (reddish dark brown)

　Dark Olive, Dark Navy

 

Since aniline dyes are used,

the colors have shading that brings out the grain of the leather.

You can also enjoy the aging process as the color fades relatively quickly.

 

For black, a "pigment finish" is also available,

where the brown core emerges over time

from a solid black leather color.

 

Additionally, though sizes and quantities are limited,

pigment pre-dyed brown core black leather

is also available.

 

The sole options are a sharp single leather sole,

a specification with a leather midsole only at the front,

and a separated type using a rubber half sole, making three types.

 

You can also choose the edge dye color and stitch color.

JELADO Duffle Short【BL82335】

These Duffle Shorts are based on a vintage item,

a remake of a duffel bag used by the US Navy in the 1940s.

We’ve crafted them to be easy to wear while retaining that vintage feel.

 

A simple design that makes use of the wide silhouette.

 

They are designed without belt loops,

with a thick drawstring to cinch the waist,

and feature a single patch pocket at the back.

We added slash pockets at the front.

 

While retaining the simple elements of vintage items,

these shorts also improve functionality by adding slash pockets.

 

The material is "asabukuro dongrosu,"

which refers to fabric woven from thick-count hemp,

like that used for coffee bean bags.

 

Among hemp fabrics, we use extra-thick count twin threads.

Because the rough texture is more pronounced in certain parts,

we've created a deep color by dyeing the plain fabric beforehand.

 

 

The fabric is thick and 100% hemp.

It offers excellent breathability and a cool feel.

 

 

JELADO Duffle Short【BL82315】

This denim version

uses 10 oz selvage denim.

 

Since it's lightweight denim,

it's a perfect item for the upcoming season.

The weft is ecru, so

you can fully enjoy its aging process.

 

The silhouette is quite wide.

We recommend this pair to those

who prefer a relaxed style.

The blue tag is a collection centered on workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

light ounce denim workwear.

"LAST RESORT 41Khaki", which has the same base but different fabric.

 

100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.

Sulfur-dyed twisted yarn is used for the warp, and

sulfur-dyed black yarn is used for the weft, resulting in a thick and stiff fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton, it will age well

with repeated wear, so we hope you enjoy

watching its appearance change.

 

Since this is produced once a year, we believe there are customers

who have been waiting for it!!
