Carhartt duck fabric jackets and vests are currently becoming more and more popular on the vintage market, and prices are rising.

This time, at JELADO, we wondered, "What if we made a Carhartt duck vest out of the same fabric as an LL Been tote bag?" and actually went ahead and made one!

 

It comes in two colors: camel and smoke black.

The material used is heavy canvas fabric.With LL Been's tote bags in mind, we twisted four individually yarn-dyed strands together to create extra-thick No. 1 yarn, and woven it into a 4oz heavy duck fabric.

As for the all-important cold protection,It uses a quilted liner with padding so there are no flaws.

 

As you can see, it goes great with a leather jacket.
