Carhartt's duck canvas jackets and vests are currently gaining popularity in the vintage market, and their prices are soaring.

This time, JELADO imagined, "What if Carhartt's duck vest was made from LL Bean's tote bag fabric?" and actually produced it!

 

It is available in two colors: camel and smoke black.

The material, reminiscent of LL Bean's heavy canvas tote bags, is woven from 21.5oz heavy duck fabric, created by twisting four individually pre-dyed threads into a thick #12 yarn.

As for cold protection, it features a quilted liner with batting, so it's fully equipped.

 

As you can see, it also pairs perfectly with leather jackets.
