We thoroughly analyzed vintage elements to create a new flannel shirt.
To reproduce the thick yet soft fabric feel of pre-1950s flannel, we meticulously analyzed vintage flannel materials. Similar to Lee workwear, we conducted detailed analysis of fiber length, twist coefficient, yarn count, and thread count, aiming to develop a new flannel fabric unlike any other. Representative brands with flannel materials from before the 1950s include Pilgrim, Winterking, and Kingkole, and this time we analyzed a Pilgrim flannel shirt.
This flannel shirt is dyed with sulfide dyes. Sulfide dyeing has seen decreased demand and raw materials in recent years, but we used this rare material to create the flannel shirt. With wear, you can enjoy unique aging characteristics such as fading and a soft texture. The special fabric, like being wrapped in a towel, will become addictive with every wear.
Using this exquisite flannel fabric, we tailored it into a simple work shirt from the same era. The pockets feature a flapless design, allowing for vintage-like styling. The sizing is similar to our Union Worker Shirt Regular Length (standard flannel shirt), further enhancing the vintage atmosphere.

This shirt was also featured by Mr. Higashino Denim.

It's a really soft and comfortable shirt to wear.

This flannel shirt was created after Representative Goto cut and analyzed vintage fabric from that era.

It's a new flannel shirt with meticulous attention to detail.

In the same way as vintage pieces from that era, we entrusted the embroidery to skilled artisans in Kiryu who continue to uphold their traditions. Using rayon thread and a horizontal embroidery machine, they meticulously stitched this ultimate souvenir jacket. The vintage piece we based it on was a one-of-a-kind military Sukajan. We faithfully reproduced a custom-made item for a soldier in the air force. To achieve this precise reproduction, we paid close attention to the materials. For the velour, we used a domestic material with firmness and a subdued sheen. For the rayon satin lining, we achieved luster with filament warp threads and volume with spun weft threads.
By reproducing the vintage Sukajan entirely in 100% rayon, you can experience the authentic feel of a vintage Sukajan. Furthermore, just like in that era, quilting is done by hand after the embroidery, making this a truly elaborate piece. For the padding, we recreated the "padding" used in vintage jumpers and furniture, using real waste cotton made from a collection of various discarded fiber materials. Therefore, while we cannot provide detailed quality specifications, we hope that those who appreciate vintage authenticity will enjoy wearing this jacket, feeling its realistic texture and weight.

The embroidery is also quite intricate and elaborate.

The theme of our 2024SS COLLECTION is "SPROUT." In line with this theme, we have developed a 10.5oz light-ounce denim called "LASTRESORT Blue Tag" and reproduced a World War II era overall. This denim was created by dissecting a 1940s Lee coverall, analyzing the yarn, and referencing the fading of existing vintage pieces to achieve a similar vertical fading effect. All accessories, including the name tags and flasher tags, that came with a deadstock House Mark overall from the war era have also been reproduced with attention to design. The flasher, which was typically made of paper, is now made of non-woven fabric, making it tear-resistant even after washing. The union ticket sewn into the pocket is also attached with a single stitch. The adjusters for the shoulder straps, the buttons that secure the shoulder straps, and the waist buttons are all faithfully recreated using laurel iron buttons. The snap buttons used to secure the bib pocket were also specially manufactured from iron just to reproduce this model. The sewing threads are separated into white and black; by sewing the front fly, shoulder straps, and hems with black thread, it gives a calmer, more mature workwear impression than if it were all white. The sizing is a slightly looser, wider silhouette to allow for comfortable workwear. As you wear them, the three different thicknesses of slub yarn will each show their character, and you can enjoy random vertical fading.

[Pre-order item, expected arrival mid-to-late April] JELADO 491J Coverall [JP94491J] Price: ¥49,500 (tax included)

 

We have released the "491-J" as a truly special item. This item pays homage to "SPROUT," the vintage shop where I began 20 years ago. To open this shop, I saved money and went to America, slowly collecting items for the opening. Among them, I found a Lee House Mark in my size, which I purchased and collected. Based on this item, we analyzed the fabric and developed the 10.5oz light-ounce "LASTRESORT DENIM."
This special denim is meticulously crafted in a way not seen in typical light-ounce denim, and accessories to match it were also planned.
All components, including the large swing button, the small swing buttons attached to the sleeves, and the snap buttons used on the chest pockets, were custom-made.
Just like the original vintage pieces, by using both gray and white sewing threads, we expressed a calmer atmosphere and vintage feel. We also reproduced the shape of the patch pockets on the front, recreating Lee's unique style of sewing straight with a little extra fabric at the bottom of the pocket.
With wear, the expression of the slub yarn woven with three different thicknesses of warp threads will emerge, allowing you to enjoy a random vertical fading like that of vintage items.

 

This will be a perfect outer layer for spring and early autumn.

[Pre-order item, expected arrival mid-to-late April] JELADO 311W Painter Pants [JP94311W] Price: ¥35,200 (tax included)

 

We have developed a 10.5oz light-ounce denim named LASTRESORT "Blue Tag" and faithfully reproduced 1940s painter pants.
This denim was created by disassembling 1940s LEE coveralls, analyzing the threads, and studying the characteristics of vintage fading. As a result, we produced denim with a similar vertical fading effect. Using this fabric, we reproduced 1940s House Mark painter pants.
We recreated the vintage look by leaving a little extra fabric at the bottom center of the pockets, a characteristic of LEE work pants, and sewing them straight.
The warp threads are woven with slub yarns of three different counts, allowing you to enjoy random vertical fading similar to that of the era. The weft threads use light gray sulfide dye, resulting in a deeper color than regular light-ounce denim and offering a different look when faded. Furthermore, a union ticket is sewn on the back of the right back pocket, showcasing our attention to detail.
The front buttons also feature dome-shaped shanks, enhancing the vintage feel. We hope you will try these painter pants, which boast the highest quality in fabric, accessories, and stitching.

This is a sample fitting, but I hope it helps you with the sizing.

My height: 176cm / weight: 64kg

For the coverall, it's a matter of preference, but it has a slightly relaxed fit, so I would choose size M when actually wearing it. For the painter pants, size M has room in the waist, so I would probably choose size S.

If you usually wear 41 Khaki in size M, then M should be fine for these as well.
