Souvenir jackets are considered top-tier items in American casual style, and their intricate embroidered designs, steeped in history, have made them highly popular.

We are pleased to introduce our spring/summer souvenir jacket, released for the 26SS season.

 

Souvenir Jacket【JP21418】

 

A souvenir jacket is an embroidered commemorative jacket, based on baseball jackets created by US military personnel stationed in Yokosuka as a memento of their service.

 

 

Our product uses a weather-cloth fabric woven from a blend of cotton and polyester threads, giving it a beautiful appearance.

It can be worn comfortably this season.

 

 

The embroidery on this piece features luxurious freehand embroidery by skilled artisans.

Its greatest characteristic is its ability to create a three-dimensional effect, making it as powerful as a painting.

 

 

The right sleeve features embroidered names of various cities, presumably recording the places visited by the original owner of the vintage souvenir jacket.

 

 

The embroidery on the left sleeve is presumed to depict the US Navy warship USS General W. M. Mitchell (TAP-114).

It is highly likely that the original owner was also a crew member of that warship.

 

 

The story embedded in each piece is also part of its value.

This product comes in two colors, black and blue, with the calm black and the slightly brighter blue being very easy to incorporate into outfits this season.
