This is a coverall inspired by the workwear of the Belle Époque period, from the late 19th to early 20th century, when French civilization and culture flourished. An atelier, in English, means a workshop, that is, a place of manufacturing such as a studio or small factory. Thus, an atelier coat is also a shop coat, but this one has a shorter length, making it a coverall that can be easily worn in spring and summer.

The puckering along the stitches caused by fabric shrinkage during post-dyeing creates a unique atmosphere, and the puckering of the stitches inside the collar, in particular, gives the collar a soft expression. It features a unique design with a patch pocket on the chest and seam pockets at the sides. Compared to the loose silhouettes of the pullover and pants from the same Belle Époque series, the body has a more moderate fit. The design is made with ease of movement in mind.
