CATALINA has been re-released.
Following the previous success, this time we have created an even more classic item by using Sta-Prest twill material and tailoring it in navy.
"STA-PREST" was born in 1964 at a factory in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is affectionately known as "Sta-Pre" in Japan.
This style features a modern silhouette with a center crease and a crisp design, which has garnered much support.
It continues to be popular among vintage enthusiasts, and the fabric that reproduces the twill used in Sta-Prest is called "Sta-Prest twill." This fabric is durable, easy to wear, and wrinkle-resistant, making it a robust pair of trousers suitable for a wide range of uses.
Buffalo horn buttons are used for the front buttons, enhancing the sense of luxury. The front features a zipper, providing convenient and easy wear.
"Catalina" is the name of a popular resort island, and its history continues as it has been privately owned since 1987. The island became popular as a resort after a casino was established there in 1929.
CATALINA, which combines new materials with classic designs, offers a sophisticated style while also being highly durable. These trousers balance fashion and practicality, making them a delightful choice for many fashion enthusiasts and practical wearers alike.

This year's color is navy. It has a different atmosphere than gray.

We dismantled a deadstock item from the 1950s, conducted a detailed analysis at a domestic testing institution to determine values such as cotton fiber length, twist count, and yarn count, and developed original yarn that matched these values.
As a result, we created a black version of the LAST RESORT DENIM.
For this production, we referenced the color of pre-dyed black denim that existed in the 1990s, and manufactured the fabric with the same yarn quality as the XX model, developing it into a 66 model.
The warp yarn is dyed black with sulfur dye, and the weft yarn is woven with unbleached yarn using the same number of threads as the white tag.
The sewing specifications follow our 66 model, utilizing originally manufactured iron buttons and copper rivets.
This black denim, like indigo, allows you to enjoy the aging process as you wear it, resulting in a rich, vertically faded texture.
The LAST RESORT white tag is sewn onto the front pocket bag, offering excellent comfort and a soft fabric feel.
Crafted with the highest quality fibers and processes, this black denim is a special item that combines inspiration from 1950s deadstock with modern technology and materials.

The silhouette is roughly between the black tag 301EXX and the Universal Slim 312ZXX in terms of width.

We have created an item perfectly suited for the 2024 SS collection theme "SPROUT." This item is a black version of the LAST RESORT DENIM, made by dismantling 1950s deadstock, analyzing the cotton fiber length, twist count, and yarn count at a domestic testing institution, and then developing original yarn that matches these values.
The theme "SPROUT" is a collection that reproduces the selections of the vintage clothing store "SPROUT" that I started 20 years ago.
At that time, black denim was a popular item, though it wasn't particularly valuable.
This item was created by referencing the shade of pre-dyed black denim made in the 90s, using the same yarn quality material as the XX model, and producing it as a 66 model. The warp yarn is sulfur-dyed black, and the weft yarn is woven with unbleached yarn using the same thread count as the white tag.
After the product was completed, we processed it to create a black denim that has faded to gray, replicating a vintage look.
By applying stone bio-wash, we've reproduced the same faded vintage denim feel. The sewing specifications are based on our 66 model, and originally manufactured iron buttons and copper rivets are used.
This black denim, like indigo, allows you to enjoy the aging process as you wear it, resulting in a wonderful vertically faded texture.
The LAST RESORT white tag is attached to the front pocket bag, allowing you to enjoy a soft, premium quality fabric.
This item is faded black denim and is suitable for a wide range of outfits from summer to winter.

This item features a vintage-like process, similar to what you'd find in a vintage clothing store, so you can wear it with a vintage feel from the start.

The fabric is also soft and very comfortable to wear, so it's a highly recommended item.
