CATALINA has been released again.
Following the positive reception of the previous edition, this time we have used a material called sta-pleth twill and made it in navy color to create an item with an even more classic feel.
"STA-PREST" was born in 1964 at a factory in Knoxville, Tennessee, and is affectionately known as "Sta-Prest" in Japan.
This style features a modern silhouette, center crease, and a crisp design, making it a very popular choice.
It remains popular even today among vintage enthusiasts, and the fabric that reproduces the twill used in Sta-Prest is called "Sta-Prest Twill." This fabric is durable, easy to wear, and wrinkle-resistant, making it a sturdy pair of trousers that can be used for a wide range of purposes.
The front buttons are made of buffalo horn, which enhances the sense of luxury. The front has a zipper, making it easy to put on and take off.
"Catalina" is the name of a popular resort island that has been owned by a private wealthy individual since 1987. The island gained popularity as a resort destination after a casino was established in 1929.
Combining new materials with classic design, the CATALINA offers sophisticated style while remaining durable. This is a pair of trousers that is both fashionable and practical, and will be a welcome choice for many fashion lovers and practical people alike.

This year's color is navy blue. It has a different feel to gray.

We dismantled unused deadstock items from the 1950s and had them analyzed by a domestic testing agency, where we investigated in detail the parameters, from the cotton fiber length to the number of twists in the yarn and the count, and then developed an original yarn that matched these parameters.
As a result, we created a black version of LAST RESORT DENIM.
For this production, we took inspiration from the color of the yarn-dyed black denim that was popular in the 1990s, manufactured the fabric with the same thread quality as the XX model, and developed the 66 model.
The warp threads are dyed black using a sulfur dye, and the weft threads are woven using off-white threads with the same number of threads as the white tag.
The sewing specifications are based on our 66 model, and original iron buttons and copper rivets are used.
Like indigo, this black denim will age with wear, giving it a rich, textured vertical fading.
A white LAST RESORT tag is sewn onto the front pocket fabric, providing excellent comfort and a soft texture.
Made using the highest quality fibers and processes, this black denim is inspired by 1950s deadstock, but is a special item created using modern techniques and materials.

The silhouette is somewhere between the thickness of the Black Tag 301EXX and the Universal Slim 312ZXX.

We have created an item that perfectly matches the 2024 SS collection theme "SPROUT." This item is a black version of LAST RESORT DENIM, which was created by dismantling deadstock from the 50s, analyzing the cotton fiber length, number of twists of the yarn, and count at a domestic testing institute, and developing an original yarn that matches the analysis.
The theme of "SPROUT" is a collection that recreates the selections of "SPROUT," a second-hand clothing store that was started 20 years ago.
At the time, black denim was a popular item, although it wasn't particularly valuable.
This item was made using the same yarn quality material as the XX, while referencing the color of the yarn-dyed black denim made in the 90s. The warp threads are dyed black with sulfur dye, and the weft threads are woven with the same number of threads as the white tag using ecru yarn.
Once the product was complete, we created a faded grey black denim look to give it a vintage feel.
Stonebio is used to recreate the look of faded vintage denim. The sewing specifications are based on our 66 model, and original iron buttons and copper rivets are used.
Like the indigo, this black denim will age with wear, giving it a wonderful faded look.
The front pocket fabric has a white LAST RESORT tag attached, allowing you to enjoy the soft, top-quality texture of the fabric.
This item is made of faded black denim and is suitable for a wide range of outfits from summer to winter.

These shoes have a vintage finish like those found in thrift stores, so they look like second-hand clothes right from the start.

The fabric is soft and very comfortable to wear, so I highly recommend it.

It goes extremely well with a flannel shirt. Please use this as a reference for your outfit.
