(Tenjiku is a type of plain weave or knit fabric in which warp and weft threads are alternately crossed. It is said to have been named after the old name of India, "Tenjiku," as fabric imported from India was called "Tenjiku fabric" or "Tenjiku cotton."  This season, we are collaborating with AGS PALDING & BROS. This collaboration combines JELADO's interpretation of VINTAGE with unraveling the precious archives of this historic brand.

This is the release of the 4/3 SLEEVE SWEAT ROCKY, created in collaboration with AGSPALDING&BROS.
One of Spalding's iconic brand items is the Sideline Parka, which features pockets modeled after boxing gloves (archived from the 1930s). This product makes use of the pocket details to create a short-sleeved sweatshirt that resembles a boxer's worn-in workout with the sleeves cut off.
This design does not exist in the archives, but we have created it with the image of what it would look like if Rocky actually wore it during training, while retaining all of the distinctive details.
The fabric is 18/hanging brushed fleece. The heathered yarn is nicely scattered, with the aim of recreating the heathered look of vintage items.
We are particular about the brushed feel of the round body, and we make it with a round body brushed fabric, which takes more than twice as much time and effort as an open-type fabric. Even with thick fleece, we sew it with cotton thread to create a vintage atmosphere.
The silhouette is large, with generous width in the chest and shoulders, and a long length.
It is designed to be loose fitting, so it is available in only two sizes.
-About AGS PALDING&BROS- AGS PALDING&BROS is an American brand founded in 1876 that is famous for being the first in the world to make baseballs and American footballs.
In fact, the brand is also a pioneer in sweatshirt items, and archive pieces are traded at high prices in the vintage clothing market. They offer products that recreate the atmosphere of the archives, using original details from 100 years ago and Japanese-made hanging fleece material woven on old-fashioned looms.
