This is a collaboration product with A.G. Spalding & Bros, a long-established American sports brand founded in 1876.

 

 

A.G. Spalding & Bros was the first company in the world to make basketballs and baseballs. Today, they are known for their basketball equipment under the Spalding name, but they were actually pioneers in sweatwear as well.

The earliest sweatshirts made by A.G. Spalding & Bros about 100 years ago are now highly valued archive pieces in the vintage market.

Vintage pieces from A.G. Spalding & Bros include hoodies featuring pockets shaped like boxing gloves, which are iconic items for the brand.

 

 

JELADO Rocky JELADO×A.G.SPALDING【AG81234】

The first collaboration between JELADO and A.G. Spalding & Bros was the Rocky, a cut-off sweatshirt featuring the brand's iconic pocket. (Perhaps inspired by that boxing movie?)

 

 

These Balboa sweatpants also feature glove-shaped pockets.

 

 

 

Since Rocky and Balboa use the same fabric, we also recommend wearing them as a set.

 

 

The collaboration between JELADO and A.G. Spalding & Bros produces items that faithfully reproduce the atmosphere of archives, using original details from 100 years ago and loopwheeled fabric woven on old Japanese looms.

The fabric used is 18oz brushed loopwheeled material, reproducing the vintage heathered look. By using unique heathered yarn, it expresses a vintage feel. The texture is also very soft and bouncy, offering the best quality.

 

 

Also, a new navy color is available. We paid close attention to the brushed texture of the tubular knit, and by sewing the reverse side with cotton thread, we ensured that even with thick looped knit, the quality preserves the vintage feel.
