This is an original design from the electrodeposited flock print series.
Since 2024 is the Year of the Dragon, we adopted a dragon motif design. We expressed a college sports team-style logo design with a sukajan dragon head illustration using a flocking (flock print) technique. This design has been carefully refined from the illustration stage to intentionally add a cracking effect due to aging, similar to vintage flock prints.
While standard screen printing can print multiple sheets at once with a single line, this print requires a skilled artisan to manually print each sheet, making it more time-consuming than conventional methods. Since it is not a mass-production machine, it is a special technique that requires a lot of time for setting up equipment and maintenance before and after work.
The body is knitted in a tubular shape (seamless sides) using an old-fashioned Azuma knitting machine. The Azuma knitting machine is used to produce fleece with a vintage texture and lightness. This knitting machine appeared in the 1970s during the transition from hanging knitting machines to innovative knitting machines, and its numbers are limited. Production with the Azuma knitting machine results in a textured surface and a fluffy feel, allowing you to enjoy a texture similar to that of a hanging knitting machine.
Regarding brushing, while normal brushing is done on a flat surface in one process, in the case of circular brushing, four sides are brushed to match the circular shape, and the entire circumference is worked, which takes more effort and time than usual. Brushing before dyeing creates a unique texture.
The cuffs use circular knit ribs, and the cuff ribs are attached directly from the two-needle stitching under the armpit in one go. This faithfully reproduces the sewing method of vintage items from that era.

Please take this opportunity to try it out.

Next up is this

JELADO Champs Sweat Shirt Plain [AB01223] Price ¥22,000 (tax included)

Flamingo Pink

Smoke Black

We are offering CHMPS, our popular collaboration sweatshirt every season, in new colorways.

We commissioned Riding High to produce our unique freedom-sleeve sweatshirts. The initial colorways available are Smoke Black and Peach.

We use an old knitting machine called the Azuma knitting machine to knit the fabric in a tubular shape (without side seams). This knitting process creates a stretchy, soft, and uniquely fluffy material. The Azuma knitting machine is a rare machine that produces fleece with a vintage feel and lightness. It emerged around the 1970s during the transition from hanging knitting machines to innovative knitting machines, and its slow knitting speed means that few of these machines remain. As a result, the fabric has a textured surface and a fluffy feel.

As for brushing, while normal brushing is done on a flat surface in one process, circular brushing requires four times the effort as it involves brushing four sides to match the circular shape. Brushing the fabric before dyeing enhances its unique texture.

I think you'll enjoy coordinating with the striking Flamingo Pink.

Finally, this one

JELADO Champs Sweat Shirt 2Tone [AB01224] Price ¥25,300 (tax included)

Flamingo Pink x Smoke Black

Smoke Black x Flamingo Pinkimage

We are offering vintage-style two-tone sweatshirts in new colorways, based on our vintage samples.

This time, we have created two versions: one with a pink base switched with smoke black, and the other with the colors reversed. This color combination, pink and black, was popular in the 1950s and is highly valued in vintage items.

The colors are vibrant.

Please try out our carefully crafted sweatshirts.
