Today, I'd like to introduce you to our new arrivals.

JELADO Age of Longing 301XX Denim Pants【JP94301】Price ¥30,800 (tax included)

 

 

 

It has been approximately three years since JELADO released the new standard 5-pocket denim 301XX from the "STANDARD COLLECTION".

We use 14oz denim fabric, which was reproduced by breaking down the DEAD STOCK fabric of Levi's 501XX from the early 1950s, carefully selecting American cotton, and scientifically approaching factors such as yarn thickness, fiber length, and twist count.
The fabric was reproduced based on analyzed data including indigo color and number of fabric picks. We named this original denim fabric "LAST RESORT (Heirloom Sword)", and products using this denim come with an original tag and "XX" engraved on the leather patch.
This time, we recreated the denim by following the pattern of the leather patch from that era, and completely reproducing the denim sewing thread and count.
The distinctive shape of the back pockets was also reproduced, as was the single-line stitching, and the triangular finish at the end.
We even reproduced the difference in color of the belt loops where only one is a different color.
Not only the sewing parts, but all the rivets were custom-made, and the front tack buttons were made of iron.
I think this will be a pair that you can enjoy as it ages.

It's been about 3 months since I started wearing it.

Wrinkles have appeared and some fading has started.

It is the second type (in the 1950s, after World War II, America experienced an unprecedented economic boom. Wartime rationing was lifted, and Levi's began to work on a model change for its G-jean for the first time in a long time. This is how the "Lot.507XX", commonly known as "Second", was born in 1952).

JELADO uses 14oz denim fabric that recreates the 501XX by breaking down the DEAD STOCK fabric of Levi's 501XX from the early 1950s, selecting American cotton, and thoroughly analyzing the yarn thickness, fiber length, and twist count. The details also reproduce those of the time.

JELADO Smoky Joe Camel【AB83409A】Price ¥101,200 (tax included)

 

The popular material from last time is used, but with a different color scheme. It uses Bishu-produced double-woven melton, 90% wool and 10% nylon, double-woven in a broken twill weave, making the weave less visible and giving it a luxurious and vintage feel. It is a time-consuming material produced through multiple processing steps, including fulling after weaving, double-sided napping, and a process to give it firmness by pressing the fabric with rollers (clear finish). The sleeves use cowhide leather that is soft and supple, and has an increased grain. As with last year, the range of motion has been expanded to prevent stress when worn, but it has been tailored into an outer layer with a silhouette suitable for adults. By using beige melton and brown leather, it has been tailored into a simple varsity jacket that adults can wear. The leather sleeves use 1.8mm cowhide leather, but they are finished soft so that they do not cause stress during movement.

 

Arm part

The leather part is made of cowhide, and the grain will also appear, which is a characteristic feature.

I think you can enjoy the aging process if you wear it.

The ribs are also firm.

JELADO Smoky Joe Full Custom Camel【AB83409C】Price ¥146,300 (tax included)

 

This year, we again commissioned Handler-san to apply patches and embroidery using a SINGER 114K103, a hand-operated sewing machine from the 1950s assembled in England. The patches are time-consuming, handmade using chenille embroidery and chain embroidery. This time, we reproduced the team embroidery from a 1940s skating rink as is. A design similar to the embroidery is produced with chenille patches. The luster will settle with use, and it will age beautifully. We thoroughly analyzed vintage elements to create a new flannel shirt.
To reproduce the thick yet soft fabric feel of pre-1950s flannel, we thoroughly analyzed vintage flannel materials. Similar to Lee's workwear, we meticulously analyzed fiber length, twist coefficient, yarn count, and thread count, aiming to develop a new flannel fabric unlike any before. Representative brands that produced flannel materials before the 1950s include Pilgrim, Winterking, and Kingkole, and this time we analyzed a Pilgrim flannel shirt.
This flannel shirt is dyed using sulfur dyes. Although the demand for sulfur dyeing has decreased in recent years and raw materials are dwindling, we created this flannel shirt using this rare material. By wearing it, you can enjoy unique aging, such as fading and a soft texture. The special fabric feel, as if wrapped in a towel, will become addictive with every wear.
We used this exquisite flannel fabric to create a simple work shirt from the same era. We adopted a flapless pocket type, allowing you to enjoy a vintage-like styling. The size is similar to our Union Worker Shirt Regular Length (standard flannel shirt), further enhancing the vintage atmosphere.

This is the shirt that was also featured by Mr. Higashino Denim.

It is a very comfortable shirt with soft fabric.

This flannel shirt was created by our representative, Goto, who cut and analyzed vintage fabric from that era.

It's a new flannel shirt that is meticulously crafted.

I'm also looking forward to the actual product arriving.

This flannel shirt will be perfect for spring and autumn, so I hope you'll wear the Farmers Shirt this spring. I also think it's a perfect shirt to coordinate with the new blue tag painter pants and coveralls for 2024SS.
