Following the success of last year's DEAN, we've released it in new colors.
Named in homage to James Dean's red Drizzler (though technically an Antifreeze jacket) worn in his iconic 1950s film "Rebel Without a Cause," the DEAN now features specially crafted colors befitting its name. Instead of the usual nylon-cotton blend found in Drizzler jackets, we've used Ventile, a high-density fabric that creates a natural sheen. This brings a fresh, durable, and luxurious feel to a classic design. Ventile is an ultra-high-density weave developed by the British Air Force for pilots as a water-resistant garment, designed to protect lives even in cold seas. Ventile is a 100% cotton natural material woven from the world's longest cotton fibers at an extremely high density. Unlike artificial waterproof materials, its high weave density and the natural property of cotton fibers to swell when wet, combined with a water-repellent treatment applied during the dyeing process, distinguish it. The key difference between this processing method and common coating or laminating waterproof treatments is that it maintains the natural breathability and feel of cotton while ensuring water repellency. Furthermore, unlike synthetic materials, it doesn't produce a rustling sound when rubbed, allowing you to enjoy the casual feel of natural fibers.
Available in two colors: red and black.

JELADO the BOOTED ENGINEER BOOT BLACK (Tea Core) [JB94901] Price: ¥143,000 (tax included)
This is a new label from JELADO.
JELADO, which revives American Golden Age workwear, military wear, and sportswear, sometimes faithfully and sometimes with arrangements, based on vintage items, now presents a brand that carefully selects and develops boots and shoes based on vintage work boots and shoes to enhance the American casual style.
These vintage items feature details that set them apart from others of the same era, such as single leather soles, low heels, a vamp that hits the counter pocket at a low position on both sides, a slightly thicker shaft, a reverse buckle, a pointed tongue-shaped opening strap end, and a gusset sewn on later at the opening.
We've taken these vintage boots and transformed them into engineer boots with new individuality and vintage appeal by changing the last, removing the toe cap, making adjustments to the base of the ankle strap, and using black horsebutt leather with a tea core.

The 2 Monkeys ELASTOS [TM01945]

In late 19th-century Britain and America, the Chelsea boot was one of the most commonly worn shoes. This shoe emerged around 1830 as an innovative design, featuring elastic fabric on both sides of the ankle to provide a snug fit without shoelaces. J. Sparkes Hall of England patented it in 1851, and it's said that Queen Victoria (reigned 1837–1901) wore them daily.
The upper classes wore embellished versions of this shoe, while the middle classes wore simple black leather ones. Ryoma Sakamoto also wore such shoes, which might be related to trade with Britain at the time.
The 2 Monkeys Elastos is a short boot that inherits the elegant style and details of 19th-century Chelsea boots while being suitable for casual wear. It incorporates many elements of boots from that era, such as V-shaped gores (elastic fabric), a design where the instep curves up with a center seam rather than crimping, decorative stitching and perforations reminiscent of the origins of brogues, and a cap with a protrusion towards the instep. These features make the Elastos a timeless casual boot that can be worn all year round.
The vibrant colors and antique feel are also appealing.
