Today, we're excited to introduce a meticulously crafted JELADO masterpiece: a vintage sweatshirt that faithfully reproduces the stitching and details of its era.

JELADO Brutal Fleece【AB13213】

Currently available for pre-order, this is the ultimate sweatshirt named "BRUTAL FLEECE."

It's an original knit of a 1940s double V-neck mottled gray sweatshirt, sewn using vintage sewing machines.

This piece was thoroughly created with the cooperation of the specialized brand "REBUILT."

The fabric uses 20-count top yarn for the surface, 40-count undyed yarn for the middle, and 8-count undyed yarn for the back, recreating the deep mottled gray of vintage pieces.

The undyed middle yarn is subtly adjusted to appear on the surface, creating a natural mottled effect unique to top yarns.

Finished with the fluffy texture characteristic of loopwheel knitting machines, it recovers from stretching and sagging after wear by washing.

The sewing meticulously adheres to the methods of the era, using vintage sewing machines for every detail.

The fabric is sewn together and cut to an appropriate length with a SINGER 105-4 (double chain stitch machine), then covered on the reverse side with a two-needle machine.

The seams are visible on the front, and when turned inside out, the outer fabric peeks through the seams, a unique specification.

The cuffs are also sewn with this machine, and a run-off chain stitch finish is adopted for durability.

With less thread, it ensures elasticity without making the seams too stiff.

Furthermore, the joined edges are pressed and finished with a UNION SPECIAL 11900, preventing seam bunching or puckering with appropriate stitch density.

For the collar binder, a UNION SPECIAL 52800 is used, sewing from the back to place thick silk thread on the front side.

This enhances elasticity and strength while preventing thread breakage.

This is the ultimate vintage sweatshirt, with meticulous attention to fabric texture, sewing techniques, and machine selection.
