Former Red Wing Japan Representative Masaya Suzuki, who has delved into the world of classic work boots, has added his sensibilities to the project and is involved in the production of boots with a never-before-seen period feel.

The 2 Monkeys What we are particularly interested in is the period just before workwear and boots began to develop independently in America, when Europe and America were starting to diverge while influencing each other from the same roots.20At the beginning of the century or earlier, in clothing19Late century or earlier?

This was the early period when the manufacturing of clothing was moving towards full-scale mass production, and also the period before that when shoes and clothing were mainly made by hand in small workshops.

Taking inspiration from the diverse range of products born during that era, with their own unique styles and historical stories, we will gradually produce a selection of products that can be enjoyed today in coordination with everyday items.

"LASTRESORT DENIM" is currently the greatest masterpiece in the history of JELADO with a black tag. It is a wild denim with a strong vintage feel.

This is the first 1ST TYPE denim jacket from JELADO, with a black tag.

The fabric has been changed from the 1ST model which was first produced in ecru with a white tag, and this is a reproduction in indigo with a black tag.

The black LASTRESORT DENIM tag is sewn onto the inside of the pocket, and this is a special 15oz denim that was created by dismantling and analyzing DEADSTOCK XX and reproducing it from denim, using a new approach that differs from the white tag.
The distinctive features of the 1st type, such as one pocket with a flap, one-sided tab, five buttons, cufflinks on the inside, and back straps, are all reproduced.
When dividing this 1st into the early and late period, the early period has a needle-stitched buckle and the button height of the box stitch that fastens the pleats is off, so this time we have changed the height of the buttons and stitches and reproduced the early period needle-stitched back straps. Since we have made a black tag as the fabric from before the 40s, it is an approach of the same era.
Compared to the 2nd Type, the collar is attached further apart and the sleeves form a T-shape when laid flat, but we have made it similar to the original to make it easier to wear.
Due to production specifications, sizes L and above will have a T-back design as the fabric width is insufficient.
