Today, we would like to introduce a wool sports jacket that has received many inquiries and has just arrived.

JELADO Wooster Sports Jacket 【AG03409】

We have reproduced a 1930s vintage sports jacket from our collection, starting with the fabric.

To replicate the faded navy color of vintage items, the yarn is dyed to an eggplant navy shade from the spinning stage.

By blending No. 7 merino wool with a hard, tweed-type raw wool during spinning, we have woven a fabric with a rough texture and stiffness.

Furthermore, by fulling the fabric, we have given it a resilient feel.

One of the most distinctive features of 1930s sports jackets, the fan-shaped eyelet zipper, has been adopted. In the vintage market, sports jackets with eyelet zippers command significantly higher prices.

The elbow patches, cuffs, and pocket openings are made of horsehide with a brown core, allowing you to enjoy its aging over time.

For this season, we recommend a classic pre-war style with a tucked-in inner layer and suspenders.

This piece pursues the realism of vintage, incorporating a cut cinch back,

which was often found in actual vintage items, into this model.

The back features a split-back (T-Back) design,

which is now a popular detail.

While LEVI'S 506XX has been steadily increasing in value,

split-back models, specifically those from size 46 and up, command even higher prices,

reaching millions of yen at vintage shops.
