Thank you for always visiting our store.
Recently, we've had a continuous rush of new arrivals, so much so that we can't keep up with introducing them all.
We have everything from standard items to standout pieces, and today, we'd like to introduce a new shirt from JELADO's standard lineup.
Westcoast Shirt Mole skin【SG11102】

This is our standard Westcoast Shirt.
This time, we've recreated an open-collar shirt that was widely available from store brands in the 1950s.
We have faithfully reproduced the design of that era, incorporating details such as using a different fabric for the back yoke and an open collar that folds back.

For this approach, instead of the original rayon material, we decided to use 100% cotton light moleskin fabric.
This not only makes it easy to wash without worry but also pairs well with denim and chinos, resulting in a shirt that can be enjoyed for a long time.

Furthermore, we adopted shell buttons to further enhance the shirt's appeal.

In recent years, the valuation of 1950s vintage items has soared, making even plain box shirts difficult to acquire.
This shirt is sure to be an attractive choice for vintage fashion lovers, combining 1950s style with modern functionality.

This is a new addition to the Westcoast Shirt series, so I think it will appeal to those who own previous series or those looking for a simple color scheme.
Please come and try it on in store.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜
【Pre-order item, arriving early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,
they are pants issued to the Marine Corps, but they are popular as a "Monkey Pants" in the vintage industry.
The origin of their name is...
A large, horizontally long cargo pocket with a flap.
This large pocket was adopted for storing a poncho, and the flap was included to prevent its contents from falling out.
These pants are called "Monkey Pants" because this pocket resembles the buttocks of a monkey.
The manufacturing period of the M44 was very short, lasting only 1 year and 3 months, from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, since they were issued to the US Marine Corps, which is a small elite force, the overall production volume was low, and they are traded at very high prices in the vintage market.
The period when the US Marine Corps actually wore them was during...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb 19 - March 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - Sep 7, 1945).
They were also widely worn after World War II, during the
・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953).
It seems that they were widely worn then.
Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material, dyed with vat dyes.
And the buttons are donut buttons, which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them diligently, you can enjoy their aging and evolving appearance.
Native pattern half-length coats
Leather jackets... and even
They pair very well with coveralls, and also
We recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.
Please pre-order online or at our store.
Thank you.
