Today, I'd like to introduce JELADO's classic rider's jacket.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is the rider's jacket that has been a long-standing "classic" in our lineup.

 

JELADO Rebel Jacket Horse Hide Semi Aniline Finish Black【SG71428】

 

This jacket aims for a simple rider's style by eliminating epaulets.

Instead of quilting, it uses cupro lining, making it easy to put on and take off,

and prioritizing wearability.

 

Made from 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish,

it offers a softness not found in 100% pigment-finished leather.

With repeated wear,

you can enjoy a different look from when you first bought it,

as it develops a unique patina over time.

The "manliness" unique to tea-core leather emerges as the leather ages with repeated wear,

These trousers were originally "waist overalls"

from an era before belt loops existed.

However, for ease of use, we added belt loops,

but since they are quite narrow,

we produced a special belt for them.

 

 

 

Pre-orders for this belt have begun.

Only the Gold x Black color is available for pre-order.

(There will also be a Gold x Brown option later.)

 

This belt uses

※Horween's Chromexcel leather,

allowing you to enjoy the unique aging process

of tea-core leather with repeated use.

 

Especially as the surface wears or gets scratched,

the underlying color gradually appears, creating a vintage feel.

 

 

※Horween's Chromexcel leather is a high-quality material

developed about 100 years ago using a combination tanning method,

where natural oils such as beef tallow and beeswax are slowly infused.

It is characterized by its substantial feel and flexibility.

 

 

The buckle is made of cast brass,

the belt loop is made of iron,

and a matte brass plating is applied as a final finish

to create a cohesive look.

For fastening, an intentionally old-style

four-split snap button is used, and a leather reinforcement

is added to the inside, demonstrating meticulous finishing down to the details.

 

This belt is a collaboration between

JELADO and BUTTON WORKS,

featuring special engravings of both brands

and a Horween stamp on the back.

 

This belt can be worn with items other than the Hoghead Wabash Trousers,

so please consider purchasing it.
