Today, I would like to introduce the white version of our classic smoker shirt.
JELADO Smoker Shirt White [JP94113]
The fabric used is broadcloth, made from fine cotton threads tightly woven into a plain weave.
It's a pretty fabric that would normally be used for dress shirts, but because it incorporates the details of a work shirt, it surprisingly pairs well with American casual styles when worn unwashed.
Pairing it with thick denim like this will give you an American casual style that's a little different from the usual.
The design is based on the 1930s "BIG YANK" gacha pocket work shirt.
As it is called gacha pocket, it has different shaped pockets on each side.
The small pocket on the left is the cigarette pocket, which is where the name "smoker's shirt" comes from. In the 30s, cigarette packs did not come in plastic, so the pocket was made in a bag shape to keep the cigarettes from getting wet when working and sweating.
It is difficult to see because it is sewn with white thread of the same color, but triple stitching is used in various places to make it sturdy, like a work shirt.
The gusset part does not have ears, but is instead sewn in a bag-stitched style.
This is because some of the original "BIG YANK" models at the time featured bag stitching.
It uses hexagonal buttons that were used on old work shirts.
Also, since cotton thread is used for sewing, the fabric will pucker after washing.
Also starting now, we are now offering a larger size, size 50 (equivalent to 5XL).

As a spot item this season,78% cotton, 22% linen yarn-dyed indigo check fabricA version that uses this has also been released.
The indigo part will gradually fade with wear and washing, allowing you to enjoy the changes over time.
It's light and comfortable to wear, so I think you can enjoy it until early summer.
