The Minamikawa-san event is down to its 'last 30 minutes',

The star of this one-day manager event was, of course,

'Minamikawa-san'.

 

Minamikawa-san is so busy that there isn't a day

he's not seen on TV...

For the 407EXX, the back of sizes L and above

will have a split-back (T-BACK) specification.

 

Among customers who can wear M size,

some intentionally go up one size to L size

because it has a split back.

 

The 301EXX, which I'll introduce later, is also similar.

It's designed to have flying neps in the yarn,

resulting in a denim fabric with a strong uneven texture.

It develops excellent vertical fading.

The "black tag" from the LAST RESORT series, which just celebrated its one-year anniversary recently.

 

We, the WEST staff,

have been diligently wearing and "raising" them.

 

(Yamamoto / 1 year of wear)

 

 

(Uemura / 11 months of wear)

 

 

As you can see from the images,

the vertical fading is very distinct.

 

When you look at the denim we've worn,

the color fading differs, but that's one of denim's charms.

 

The 'Black Tag' series

is positioned as 1940s XX fabric.

 

It's a very dark denim,

but until the end of the war in 1945, the factory was producing 'S506XX, S501XX',

and there was leftover fabric from these.

 

The 'material controls' enacted during the war were lifted,

and both the upper and lower details returned to their pre-war specifications,

but this didn't happen immediately, taking a few years for the fabric to change.

 

The model with the newly changed fabric is the late 1947 type.

 

Since this black tag denim is from the transitional period before the fabric changed to a new one,

it is a very dark denim fabric.

 

The early 1947 models are JELADO's 407EXX / 301EXX.

 

Reservations for these are also being accepted at our store,

so please come and try them on.

 

We have 407EXX in M & XL and

301EXX in W33 available as samples to try on at the store.
