JELADO is pleased to announce the arrival of baker shorts, which inherit the characteristics of our highly popular baker pants. These pants, launched in 2024, use herringbone twill adopted by the U.S. military in 1947.
CM43 Baker Short Pants【CT12312】
The basic details are the same as the CM47 baker pants, but the width across the thighs has been adjusted for easier wear as shorts.
Baker pants, also known as fatigue pants, were worn not only during combat but also for indoor work.
While later models using back satin are famous for baker pants fabric, we refined the early herringbone twill model for shorts.
Herringbone twill is a twill fabric named for its resemblance to the bones of a herring.
By varying the twist, the ridges were made clear, resulting in a durable fabric.
For this herringbone fabric, we used vat dyes, just like back then, to faithfully reproduce the original texture. Vat dyes have low colorfastness, so they gradually fade with wear, making these pants an item to enjoy over time.
The color variations are olive and navy, just like the baker pants.
Both colors use vat dyes, so you can enjoy their aging process.

Based on vintage pieces,
