Today, I'd like to introduce a product that has been significantly delayed in its arrival.

 

 

Here are the CN2 Waterproof Trousers【CT82116】, based on US NAVY deck overpants from the 1940s.

Actually... I was quite interested in this item at the preview.

 

 

This product is made from a back-weapon material using cotton-hemp blend yarn.

 

What is back-weapon material?

It's a material that leverages the high-density texture and the cooling properties of hemp.

Hemp is a type of linen, and among natural fibers, it excels in "water absorption and quick-drying."

Additionally, it's a breathable material that releases heat, making it suitable for wear even now.

 

 

By using cotton-hemp blend yarn for the weft, an uneven texture is created, resulting in a fabric with an enjoyable aesthetic.

 

This product is dyed by kneading.

It's finished by drying with as little mechanical pressure or tension as possible, creating a natural feel and faded look.

 

 

Available in two colors: navy and olive, commonly seen in vintage items.

 

 

While it pairs well with a long-sleeved T-shirt, I personally recommend pairing it with a coverall!

So, I tried matching it with the CN3 Jacket【CT81409】.

This jacket is based on the 'N3 Jacket' issued to the US NAVY (Navy) in the 1940s.

It is very similar to the 'P41 Jacket' issued to the USMC (Marine Corps), but the N3 issued to the Navy is rarer and therefore more valuable.

 

This CN3 is available in two colors: Indigo and Olive, and the denim version is made from 10oz light ounce denim.

 

 

The fabric has a slubby texture with nep. As you wear it repeatedly, the denim will develop vertical fading, allowing you to enjoy a vintage-like look.

 

The olive color is made of herringbone fabric.

 

 

As you wear it repeatedly, it will age and fade.

When herringbone fades, it develops an earthy, vintage-like feel that improves its character, so I personally recommend it.
