41 Khaki Lastresort Chino Cloth【AG94341A】

Similar to Last Resort denim, we deconstructed vintage M41 Khaki and analyzed the fabric. Based on the knowledge gained, we thoroughly reproduced the yarn thickness, unevenness, twist count, and twist direction.

For the raw cotton, we used JELADO's classic American Deep South cotton, which achieves natural uneven yarn.

We are also particular about the dyeing method. While the previous 41 Khaki used reactive dyes developed in the 1950s, this Last Resort 41 Khaki is dyed with vat dyes, similar to vintage pieces.

The advantage of using vat dyes is that as you wear and wash them, they fade and change their appearance just like vintage items.

As you can see, it has a wide, straight silhouette similar to vintage items. The wide hem allows for good airflow, and the light ounce makes it perfect for the upcoming warm season.

Following vintage specifications, the pockets feature extremely narrow double-welt construction, which is very difficult to sew.

The belt loops are also reproduced with an offset, just like vintage items.

In addition, we also offer a custom version with a "PW" stencil as a standard item.

This item features a powerful "PW" (initials of "War Prisoner") stencil, referring to prisoners of war.

 

"PW" was a stencil applied to clothing worn by prisoners of war during World War II, and these items are extremely rare and very popular in the vintage clothing market.

Since each stencil is applied by hand, there are slight individual differences, just like genuine vintage items.

 

Just as the 41 Khaki body fades, the PW stencil will also become faint with repeated washing. This model offers significant aging enjoyment.

As you may know,

this is a leather jacket based on LEVI'S S506XX (War Model),

so it has 'four' front buttons instead of five.

The absence of pocket flaps is also a detail unique to the War Model.

Of course, it features 'laurel leaf buttons'.

These buttons have undergone a blue rust treatment,

so as the leather ages with repeated wear, they will acquire even more character.

The back features a split back, a specification typically found on LEVI'S 506XX sizes 46 and above.

And a cinch back is attached above the waistband.

Made from 1.6mm thick horsehide leather with a semi-aniline finish,

this leather truly has the "best of both worlds," retaining the natural texture of the leather

while also offering a substantial feel.

At WEST, this leather jacket is so highly sought after that it is almost never available in stores,

only being sold as pre-orders.
