The 2 Monkeys French Work Blouse【TM02454】

America in the 1870s.

LEVI'S introduced a jacket-style blouse called the "Triple Pleat Blouse."

The French Work Blouse I'm introducing today

is also a jacket-style blouse, just like the one mentioned above.

It's said that France adopted it earlier than America,

but why is it called a "blouse"?

The answer is this.

While jacket buttonholes are horizontal, these are vertical buttonholes.

That's why it's called a blouse!

This blouse features pleats and

French-like details such as gathered cuffs and a gathered waistband.

This is a 100% linen jacket-style blouse.

You might associate linen with being breathable,

lightweight, and a summer fabric.

However, this French Work Blouse

is made from tightly woven, thick linen,

so it can actually be worn in winter too.

It comes in two colors:

・Tobacco Brown

・Blue Black

The Rebel Jacket

is a long-standing standard rider's jacket from JELADO.

To make it a simple rider's jacket,

we eliminated the epaulets.

Furthermore, instead of quilting,

we used cupro to make it easy to put on and take off,

resulting in a garment that prioritizes wearability.

Made from 1.6mm thick leather with a semi-aniline finish, this jacket offers a softness not found in 100% pigment-finished leather. Since it's a "tea-core leather," repeated wear will allow you to enjoy its aging process.

These are baker pants made from a fabric called "Herringbone Twill," adopted in 1947.

※ What is Herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring" and "bone"

The name comes from the pattern resembling the bones visible when a herring fish is filleted.

Baker pants were worn in battle, but they were also worn during indoor work.

It is also said that the name "Baker Pants" came about because bakers used to wear them.

Since they are made of herringbone twill fabric,

they are thick and durable.

Also, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy the aging process with repeated wear.
