Today we are introducing a standard JELADO item from our Flagship store.

It's a Westcoast shirt.

This time it is made from ombre printed typewriter fabric.

As this is a classic item, many customers look forward to it every year to see what colors it will come in this season. This season, it comes in two colors: lime and orange.

The typewriter fabric is made with organic yarn.

After dyeing the ground part (beige part),

The ombre check is printed using a rotary printer.

The background color is beige, so the check pattern looks deep,

It has a vintage-style look, making it a popular item among vintage lovers.

Compared to 20 years ago, it's safe to say that vintage shirts are now worth about 10 times as much.

The printing is done in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture.
The base of the shirt is an open-collar design based on the rayon box shirt from the 50s.

The silhouette has been adjusted so that it is not too slim, and emphasis is placed on ease of wear.

 

Both colors have great color development and go great with denim or chinos.

 

 

 

 

 

I also paired it with corduroy pants, which just arrived yesterday.

 

 

 

 

 

 

It creates a nice contrast with the pants, and brings out the beautiful colour of the West Coast shirt.

 

The fabric itself is thin compared to flannel shirts, but if you coordinate it with a heavy outerwear, you can wear it as an inner layer even in the middle of winter.

 

 

 

With so many heavy outerwear in dark colors, this shirt with such vibrant color can be worn as an inner layer, making it a versatile shirt that can be used to add a pop of color to a monotonous winter outfit!
