～Adult letterman jacket "Smoky Joe"～

JELADO Smoky Joe Camel【AB83409A】

 

 

 

Double-woven melton woven in the "Bishu" region of Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture.

 

・90% wool

・10% nylon

It is double-woven to make the weave less visible,

and is woven in a broken twill pattern designed to give it a luxurious and vintage feel.

 

After weaving, it is subjected to multiple processing steps,

and this laborious material is used for this

Smoky Joe jacket.

 

The sleeves are made of 1.8mm cowhide.

The leather is soft, and as you use it, the grain will deepen,

so you can also enjoy its aging process.

 

The 2023AW Smoky Joe features a more natural color than previous years.

 

This letterman jacket, which pairs well with denim, military, and other pants,

is also available in a full custom version in addition to the plain one.

This custom version

adopts the design of a 1940s corduroy jacket.

 

It is a special jacket with patches and embroidery

applied using a handle sewing machine assembled in England.

 

While the jacket itself is already quite elaborate,

we also recommend the even more elaborate full custom version,

so please try it on at the store.

The base fabric replicates the thick yet soft feel of fabrics from before the 1950s.

To achieve this, vintage flannel shirts were thoroughly analyzed, and similar to Lee workwear,

a new flannel was developed from scratch by carefully analyzing the following at a testing institution:

・Fiber length

・Twist coefficient

・Yarn count

・Number of threads per inch

This product uses sulfide dyes.

Although the demand for sulfide dyeing is low in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wear and the soft "texture" and "feel against the skin,"

which feels like being wrapped in a towel, are exceptionally good and highly recommended.

This product receives a lot of inquiries from customers concerned about sizing.
