I will explain it again for those who are seeing it for the first time.

This is "LASTRESORT DENIM," JELADO's finest masterpiece, with a wild and vintage feel.

Using a black tag, this is JELADO's first 1ST TYPE denim jacket.
We've changed the fabric from the 1ST model produced with a white tag and ecru denim this season, and reproduced it with a black tag indigo.
The LASTRESORT DENIM black tag is sewn on the inside of the pocket. This is a special 15oz denim reproduced from denim that was deconstructed and analyzed from DEADSTOCK XX, and created with a new approach different from the white tag.
The distinctive features of the 1st type, such as a single pocket with a flap, one-sided tab, five buttons, internal cuff buttons, and a back strap, are faithfully reproduced.
When categorizing the 1st type into early and late models, the early model featured a buckled needle, and the box stitching securing the pleats caused the button height to shift. This reproduction similarly adjusts the button and stitching heights and recreates the early model's needle-buckle back strap.
Since the black tag was created for fabric from before the 1940s, it follows a similar approach from that era.
Compared to the 2nd Type, the collar attachment is spaced further apart, and the sleeve attachment forms a T-shape when laid flat; these details were incorporated to a wearable degree.
Similar to our vintage pieces, the lap seams are sewn with #20 thread and the main seams with #30 thread.
The leather patch is horsehide, and it is meticulously crafted with a one-sided embroidered rayon tab, original plated iron buttons, and original copper rivets.
Due to production specifications, sizes L and above, where the fabric width is insufficient, will have a T-back design.

 ～LASTRESORT BLACK TAG～
By deconstructing DEAD STOCK of the time and analyzing the length of cotton fibers, thread thickness and twist count, and number of fabric threads per inch at a certain analytical institution, we selected raw cotton that matched the values from data of two DEAD STOCK pieces from similar eras, created threads, and wove them on a 1950s loom with the same number of threads per inch, resulting in the ultimate denim.
By making this denim, we gained a deep understanding of the characteristics of XX denim from that era, the quality of the thread, and the feel of the fabric, as well as the differences from modern denim.
Among the missions to reproduce XX, if there was a clear process that we deliberately didn't mention, it would be the "color."
LASTRESORT Black Tag was created to reproduce the color and texture of denim woven under conditions where spinning technology was not as advanced as it is today, and thread quality was inferior, in order to achieve a vintage-like color.
Although we used the same raw cotton as the white tag for the warp and weft (EMOT for warp, California Pima for weft) to create the thread, we manipulated the warp thread to make the neps pop out easily, resulting in a stronger unevenness.

This G-jean also pays attention to the material.
By creating strong unevenness, we can achieve a longer vertical fading.
Looking at the vintage pieces we targeted, the dullness or prominence of the weft color was striking. The color of the cotton back then looked more like a yellowish ecru than pure white.
We decided to create the thread to match this deep color, then dye it and weave the fabric.
By changing the dyeing factory from the white tag, the color has become completely different.
The height of the ropes and the dyeing process differ depending on the dyeing factory, so the color expression also changes.

Due to these differences in processes, the white tag is 14oz and the black tag is 15oz, resulting in a different fabric weight.
Also, by deliberately dyeing it deeply 8 times, we achieved a deeper, darker blue denim. We decided to use this denim with its deep color and wild unevenness as the "LASTRESORT DENIM Black Tag" model, seeking a more heritage texture.
Although it has a wilder appearance and fabric touch, after only two days of wear, it transforms into a soft and smooth comfort, similar to the white tag, without stress.

JELADO is highly recommended.

The more you wear it, the more comfortable it becomes, and you can enjoy the aging process.

The great thing about a G-jean is not only that it ages beautifully, but also that you can wear it for a long time.

You can also wear another outer layer over your G-jean, or wear the G-jean as your main outer layer, which is another great thing about it.

I recommend that even those who have never worn a G-jean try it on once.

I've been wearing my denim since April, so it's been about 7 months.
