The one I'm wearing is oak brown.

About 5 months have passed since I started wearing them.

They feel very comfortable on my feet.

I think they are very easy to wear boots.

Since they are made of horse front leather, they are soft and will quickly mold to your feet.

Compared to new boots, the color seems to have become considerably darker. The right one is my boot.

Wrinkles have also started to appear, giving them a nice character.

Since some of you may be seeing them for the first time, I'd like to introduce The 2 Monkeys VAUDEVILLE【TM83933】.

They are available in two colors.

Vaudeville was a form of theatrical entertainment popular in America before the rise of cinema. Around 1880-1920, when vaudeville was at its peak, numerous vaudeville theaters thrived in major cities like New York. The shows were diverse, featuring singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and more. Many early silent film stars such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, and the Marx Brothers came from vaudeville backgrounds, traveling from theater to theater. The 2 Monkeys "VAUDEVILLE" boots are inspired by these traveling vaudeville performers. (They are not a reproduction of a specific vintage boot.) We drew inspiration from American and French boots from around the 1910s. These are capped-toe external lacing boots with a high toe, also known as a bulldog toe, and a vamp (quarter) stitched with separate upper and lower parts. We combined an original last with a slightly oblique toe, a smaller cap, a larger vamp, a lower shaft, and a modest heel to create the look of boots from that era. By combining two types of construction and strongly narrowing the waist, we reproduced the elegant silhouette of boots from that time. Imagining actors who love to show off, we designed a unique toe shape with a distinct line. The leather is smooth yet naturally textured horsehide (horse front). Since this leather is not heavily "finished," you may see natural marks such as tiger stripes or scars emerge as you wear them, but these are all part of the charm of horse leather. Being soft leather, it conforms exceptionally well to the foot. Like "SPORTIF," these boots are surprisingly light and comfortable.

They come in black and oak brown. The black features a brown core that ages beautifully, while the oak brown has deep, nuanced tones and offers an enjoyable aging process where the black dye used for finishing fades.

While JELADO offers these as a standard item, this time, a special order VAUDEVILLE will be released in collaboration with Lightning and The 2 Monkeys.

We use different types of horsehide for the upper. Although the leather is tanned in the same way, the parts closer to the sole are finished with pigment, while the parts that wrap around the ankle are dyed with dye.

We use two types of leather with different dyeing techniques.

We have developed a 10.5oz light-ounce denim named LASTRESORT "Blue Tag" and faithfully reproduced 1940s painter pants.
We deconstructed a 1940s LEE coverall, analyzed the threads, and studied the characteristics of vintage fading to create a denim with similar vertical fading. Using this fabric, we reproduced the 1940s House Mark painter pants.
We replicated the vintage feel by leaving a little extra fabric at the bottom center of the pocket and sewing it straight, a characteristic of LEE work pants.
The warp threads are woven with slub yarn using three different counts, allowing you to enjoy the random vertical fading just like back then. The weft threads are made from light gray sulfide-dyed yarn, which gives a deeper color than regular light-ounce denim and allows you to enjoy the difference in color fading. Furthermore, a union ticket is sewn on the back of the right back pocket, demonstrating our attention to detail.
The front buttons also feature dome-shaped shanks, enhancing the vintage feel. We hope you will try these painter pants, which are made with the highest quality fabric, accessories, and sewing.

There is no doubt that the wide silhouette will look great.
