My favorite is Oak Brown.

It's been about five months since I started wearing them.

When I wear them, they fit my feet really well.

I think these boots are very comfortable to wear.

The leather used is horse-front, so it is soft and will quickly conform to your feet.

The color seems to be much darker compared to when they were new. The boots on the right are mine.

The wrinkles have come in and it has a nice flavor.

Some of you may be seeing them for the first time, so we would also like to introduce The 2 Monkeys VAUDEVILLE [TM83933].

Waist area

Vaudeville was a form of theater entertainment for the masses in America before the spread of film. From 1880 to 1920, when vaudeville was all the rage, there were many vaudeville theaters in big cities such as New York, and they were very busy. The content was also very diverse, with singing, dancing, comedy, magic, and more. Many of the stars of early silent films, such as Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, Laurel and Hardy, and the Marx Brothers, were from vaudeville. They traveled from theater to theater. The 2 Monkeys “VAUDEVILLE” is a boot made with the image of a vaudeville actor who was also a traveling performer. (It is not a reproduction of a specific vintage boot.) It was inspired by American and French boots from around 1910. It is a capped toe boot with a high toe, called a high toe or bulldog toe, and a waist leather with separate parts sewn together above and below. The original wooden last with a slightly oblique toe is combined with a small cap, a large waist leather, a low length, and a small heel to create the appearance of boots from that era. Two different manufacturing methods are combined to tightly tighten the waist, recreating the graceful appearance of boots from that time. The toe has a unique shape with a line, imagining actors who are used to showing off. The leather is horsehide (horse front), which is smooth but leaves the natural skin. Since it is not very "made up", scars and rose marks may become visible as you wear it, but it is leather that allows you to fully enjoy the horse leather characteristics including those. The soft leather fits the foot perfectly. Like "SPORTIF", it is an amazingly light boot.

The colors are black and oak brown. The black has a brown core that ages beautifully, while the oak brown has a deep shaded color, and you can enjoy the aging process as the black dye used in the finish fades.

Although it is a standard item at JELADO, this time we will be releasing a special order VAUDEVILLE in collaboration with Lightning and The 2 Monkeys.

The horsehide used for the upper is made from the same tanned leather, but the parts near the bottom are finished with pigments and the part that wraps around the ankle is dyed with dyes.

We use leather with two different dyeing techniques.

We developed a light-weight 10.5 oz denim that we named LASTRESORT “Blue Tag”, faithfully recreating the painter pants of the 40s.
This denim was made by dismantling a 40s LEE coverall, analyzing the threads, and studying the characteristics of vintage fading. As a result, we created denim with a similar vertical fading feel. Using this fabric, we reproduced Housemark's painter pants from the 40s.
We created a vintage look by leaving a little extra space in the center of the bottom of the pocket, a characteristic of LEE work pants, and sewn it in a straight line.
The warp threads are woven with uneven yarns using three different counts, allowing you to enjoy the random vertical fading that was seen in the original denim. The weft threads are dyed with a light gray sulfur dye, giving them a deeper color than regular light-ounce denim, allowing you to enjoy the difference in the fading. In addition, a union ticket is sewn on the back of the right back pocket, giving it a special attention to detail.
The front button feet are also domed to create a more vintage look. We hope you will try out these top quality painter pants, from fabric to accessories to sewing.

There's no doubt that the thick silhouette will look great.

It's not often that you get to wear dark colored painter pants from scratch, so please take this opportunity to try them out.
