JELADO Newberry Knit【CB83816】

 

 

 

It's been a while since this was released...

 

【CB83816】Newberry Knit

This is a crew neck knit sweater with a native pattern knit in jacquard,

based on vintage knitwear, with an arranged pattern size.

 

The Newberry Knit is a double jacquard knit.

 

The biggest difference from single jacquard is its substantial thickness.

We've created a knit that is "warm and easy to wear."

 

 

 

 

This versatile knit goes great with jeans, of course, but also with chino pants, cargo pants, and more.

 

When it gets a little colder,

you can wear a jacket over the Newberry Knit,

 

and it works well as an inner layer, adding a pop of color or pattern. Please come and try it on at the store.

The 2 Monkeys Classic Oxford Shirt【TM83128】

The scene is the 1870s.

In France, "shirts" were considered underwear.

 

They weren't the front-opening type we see today;

at that time, they were pullover shirts (worn by pulling over the head).

 

However, as *tuxedos became popular as evening formal wear for the upper class,

shirts, which had previously been treated as underwear, gradually began to change from pullovers to front-opening styles as fashion.

As shown in the second tuxedo image,

the V-neck of the vest inside is quite low, exposing the front part of the shirt.

This led to shirts being viewed as "fashion" rather than just underwear.

 

With shirts transitioning from underwear to fashion,

their details changed from previous specifications, creating an era where old and new details blended.

 

Around the 1890s to 1910s, details also blended,

and shirts evolved further as fashion, wouldn't you say?

 

The shirt released by The 2 Monkeys this time is produced

with cotton oxford fabric, featuring details from the era after the 1870s, as explained above, where various details blended.

 

It's a distinctive shirt, incorporating old-era details like a high-neck collar without a collar band and gathers at the neckline.

It also features tapered sleeves from shoulder to cuff at an angle, and a wide but body-hugging torso.

 

This shirt...

It's primarily designed to be tucked in, but it also looks great untucked.

 

Additionally,

the gathers at the cuffs and

 

chest pocket

 

Gathers can also be seen at the collar.

These are details unique to French vintage.
