Westcoast Shirt Moleskin【SG11102】

 

JELADO's classic "Westcoast Shirt"

for 25SS is made of moleskin.

This "Westcoast Shirt"

is particularly comfortable,

a unique feature of moleskin.

The collar is an open collar,

and a boxy silhouette.

This shirt features a unique 50s silhouette

that pairs well with various pants,

including denim, chinos, and military styles.

It's a versatile piece.

Also, since the length isn't too long,

I personally recommend layering a denim jacket

over it.

Available in Olive and Vanilla.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜

【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

The USMC M44 Monkey Pants were issued to the Marine Corps.

They are a popular item in the vintage industry, affectionately known as "Monkey Pants."

The origin of their name is as follows:

Large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were designed to hold ponchos,

and the flaps were added to prevent items from falling out.

Because these pockets resemble a monkey's backside,

they are called "Monkey Pants."

The M44 had a very short production period,

only 1 year and 3 months, from July 1944 to October 1945.

Also, due to being issued to the "elite few"

of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was small, making them quite expensive

in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps actually wore them were...

・Battle of Iwo Jima (February 19 - March 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (March 26 - September 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (June 25, 1950 - July 27, 1953)

they seem to have been worn extensively.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

adding to the vintage feel.

 You can enjoy the aging process

by wearing them diligently.

Native pattern half-length coats and

Leather jackets... furthermore,

They also pair very well with coveralls, and

I recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.
