Now, I'd like to inform you that we will be holding a boot fitting event at the Ebisu store this weekend, November 4th (Sat) and November 5th (Sun).

Mr. Riya Suzuki will be attending.

Let me introduce Mr. Riya Suzuki again.

 

 

This was the early era when the manufacturing of clothing was seriously shifting to a mass production system, and before that, when shoes and clothing were mainly made by hand in small workshops.

We are inspired by a diverse range of products from that era, with unique styles and stories buried in history, and we carefully select and gradually produce items that we can enjoy coordinating with our daily outfits today.

 

Mr. Riya Suzuki, former representative of Red Wing Japan, has delved into the world of classic work boots, and with his sensibilities, he is involved in the creation of boots and other items that evoke a unique sense of time.

The 2 Monkeys is particularly focused on the era just before workwear and boots began their unique development in America, when Europe and America began to diverge while influencing each other from the same roots. For boots, this is the early 20th century or earlier, and for apparel, it's the late 19th century or earlier.

 

Sportif, the new Vaudeville, and the Elastos, which will be released next spring.

We will also have samples of engineer boots from the new label, Booted.

Let me introduce some staff coordination for autumn and winter.

First, a coordination using The 2 Monkeys

The Sans-Culotte Pants are a linen blend with a wide silhouette, so they can be worn loosely.

They are breathable and comfortable, so please try them out this season and in summer.

This time, we are producing warm and easy-to-wear knits, inspired by vintage knits and arranged with original patterns and sizes.
The yarn used is Merino wool (Merino wool is characterized by its fineness and high moisture absorption).
It feels soft and warm to the touch, and is highly durable.
We use a rustic-feeling yarn. JELADO adopts original patterns.
While paying attention to the pattern and color, it's an item that is easy to pair with denim and chinos.

If you layer it with a mega thermal, I think you'll be able to withstand the winter cold.

If you wear a windproof outer layer, I think you'll be well-protected from the cold.

In the staff's coordination, pairing it with a shirt as an inner layer adds a neat and smart touch, which I think accentuates the knit.

Many people might think that knits feel itchy when worn.

I am one of those people…

I tried on this knit and it didn't feel itchy at all, so you don't have to worry about that.

Also, the fabric won't stretch, so I think you can use it for a long time.

This knit is highly versatile and can be paired with denim, chinos, and both wide and slim pants.
