Hello.

Goto, who is working solo today, will be writing this.

Lately, time has been flying by in an endless cycle of jeans, martial artists, and alcohol...

 

My alcohol intake and the time I finish late at night have increased, and I'm completely worn out.

 

Recently, my passion for developing various things has re-emerged, and for the first time in a while, I've been enjoying buying up various vintage items and digging through my old collections.

 

While looking at vintage models I've used before, I'm always thinking about what kind of arrangements I can make, what kind of yarn, knitting, or sewing would be best if I were to reproduce them.

It's fun to constantly think about things like how to make the random white threads flicker in this twisted-yarn fabric.

 

But now, I've started wanting to create another large-scale item, and it seems like it's going to become quite an ambitious project again...

And that's this.

I love Lee's workwear.

 

 

Their painter pants, coveralls, and overalls are all really cool.

 

When they age, they develop that rain-like vertical fading, and the gray weft threads fade nicely, making for a denim with lots to see!

 

I'd like to try reproducing Lee's JELT DENIM again!

It will take some time, but please look forward to it!

 

I will spend the next six months organizing everything to realistically express the unevenness of the yarn, its thickness, the density of the weave, and so on. Then I will meticulously select the spinning, dyeing, and weaving factories and move forward with the project.

 

Now, for the long-awaited summer event in Sapporo!

JELADO POPUP STORE will be held at the usual location with First Arrows!

This time, we will be showcasing many new items from this year's collection, including a preview of the new autumn/winter collection and samples of the Last Resort black tag!

 

 

And our currently thriving new brand,

two monkeys, will also have samples of Sportif footwear, and we will offer many new apparel items from Suzuki's first clothing collection.
