Given the current weather, the item I'd like to introduce today is the 44 Leather Jacket, one of Jelado's three classic leather jackets.

Originally based on the 1st World War II model, the 44 leather jacket also reproduces details from the original World War II model denim jacket, such as the no-flap chest pockets and the design of the four laurel wreath buttons.

 

 

This product uses 1.6mm thick horsehide leather finished with a combination tanning process that combines chrome tanning and vegetable tanning.

Even when you first start wearing it, it doesn't feel particularly stiff, and you can enjoy the unique aging process that only horsehide can provide.

 

The base is dyed light brown and then dyed black at a long-established finishing factory in Tokyo, allowing you to enjoy the changes that occur over time as the brown core becomes more visible as you wear it.

 

The iron laurel buttons will also rust due to oxidation, allowing you to appreciate the aged look and texture that comes with time.

 

 

When worn, it gives a clean impression like a denim jacket, and is a piece that we would definitely recommend trying pairing with denim.
