In December, a small quantity of this item arrived as free stock,

but it sold out instantly.

This is the Age of Longing 407EXX.

 

You all probably know about the LAST RESORT "Black Tag",

but this is the second installment of the Last Resort series,

following the original "White Tag" that was released earlier.

 

Compared to the White Tag, the Black Tag denim is not as blue,

but has a stronger black tint.

 

JELADO categorizes denim into early and late 1947 models.

The White Tag, with its strong blue tint, is positioned as the late 1947 model,

and the 501XX of this era is called:

 

"The pinnacle of 501XX history"

 

If you want to know why it's called that,

The White Tag is a denim fabric that focuses on

XX fabric from the 1950s.

 

So what about the "Black Tag" with its strong black tint??

 

World War II ended in 1945,

and during the war, each Levi's factory was producing

the "War Model" that everyone loves.

 

After the war ended, material restrictions were lifted,

but it took a considerable amount of time for the details

to return to their original form.

 

The reason is that a lot of the denim fabric and auxiliary materials

used in the War Model remained.

 

Levi's denim fabrics also have No. 1 denim to No. 3 denim

(I only know up to No. 3, but if there's a No. 4 or something,

please let me know). This refers to the quality of the denim fabric.

 

No. 2 is a cheaper version of No. 1 denim,

and No. 3 is a cheaper version of No. 2 denim.

It's categorized that way, but perhaps the denim fabric used in the War Model

was No. 2 or No. 3 denim?

 

After this denim fabric was used up,

it transitioned to what JELADO calls the "White Tag."

The period from the end of the war to the transition of denim fabric

is what the Black Tag denim represents.

 

The ounce is 15 oz,

and because strong slub yarn is used,

when it ages through repeated wear,

it produces vertical fades like falling rain.

 

The real pleasure of denim is, after all,

"fading."

Fading, which is essential for "wearing" denim,

is completely different for each person, so this pleasure

is, I believe, the greatest charm of denim.

 

This time, an additional 400 units will be produced,

so for customers who couldn't purchase it during the previous December arrival,

or for those considering purchasing it now,

I believe this is an opportunity to get your hands on it.

the Last Resort CHINO CLOTH

is a stenciled version of the 41 Khaki...

 

These are incredibly rare,

yet highly popular items.

While both stores have samples available,

 

these are the kind of items that even we staff

can't buy without pre-ordering, so

The 41 Khaki stencil, which changes over time

with repeated wear and washing,

will have a dark stencil when first purchased,

but after washing, it will fade,

completely changing its look.

【Pre-order item, expected arrival mid to late April】41 Khaki Last Resort Chino Cloth【AG94341A】

The previous 41 Khaki model was discontinued

with its last shipment in May 2023.

 

To release a new chino pant in its place,

we cut and analyzed vintage 41 Khaki, which are now highly sought after,

and produced the fabric from scratch.

 

Using American deep south cotton,

we've recreated a natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41 Khaki was reactive-dyed,

this new 41 Khaki is dyed with vat dye.

 

The 41 Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle loom, and vat dye,

is finished to preserve the atmosphere and texture of the original.

 

From the raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing,

this ultimate chino pant is crafted with meticulous attention to detail...

That is JELADO's

Last Resort Chino Cloth 

"41 Khaki".

 

The last shipment sold out incredibly quickly,

and there are many customers waiting for the next arrival,

making it a highly popular item.

※Mint has arrived, but Salmon Raw will arrive at a later date.

 

The base is a thick yet soft fabric from before the 1950s.

To reproduce it, vintage flannel shirts were

thoroughly analyzed, and like Lee workwear,

an inspection agency performed detailed analysis of

 

・fiber length

・twist coefficient

・yarn count

・number of threads per inch

 

and developed a new flannel from scratch.

 

This product uses

sulfur dye.

While there is little demand for sulfur dyeing in recent years,

the "aging" effect from wear and

the fluffy "texture" and "feel on the skin,"

as if wrapped in a towel, are

exceptionally good and highly recommended.

 

This is a product that receives a large number of inquiries

from customers concerned about the size, but we would appreciate it if you could consult us

in store rather than by phone (as we may not be able to respond depending on customer visits, etc.).

a trump card, a last resort, and while the white tag was the first line of defense,

the black tag and brown tag followed, and the fourth line of defense is

the "blue tag" series.

 

The white and black tags focused on LEVI'S,

the brown tag focused on 41 Khaki...

So what about the blue tag?

 

The blue tag is a collection centered on workwear,

and when it comes to representative workwear,

"Lee" is definitely essential.

 

LAST RESORT "Blue Tag"

focuses on light ounce denim workwear.

 

Since it's 10.5 oz denim,

unlike the white and black tags, the lower ounce blue tag

will undoubtedly show a different kind of aging.

 

In that sense,

The base is the same as "LASTRESORT 41Khaki", but the fabric is different.

 

100% cotton twisted yarn twill fabric.

The warp uses sulfur-dyed twisted yarn, and the weft uses

sulfur-dyed black yarn, creating a thick and stiff fabric.

 

Since it's 100% cotton, it will age beautifully as you wear it,

so we hope you enjoy the changing appearance.

 

Since this is produced only once a year, there might be customers who have been waiting for this.

For those customers, "41Covert", which you've all been waiting for, is finally available for pre-order.
