So today, we'd like to introduce the Last Resort Black Tag 301EXX, which we currently have in abundant stock.

We aimed to completely reproduce the 501XX 1947 model, which is said to be the ultimate form of 5-pocket jeans. By dissecting vintage pieces, we thoroughly reproduced everything from the thickness of the thread to the length of the fiber and the number of twists.

Compared to the Last Resort white tag fabric, the black tag denim has a dark navy color with a hint of black. For this reason, it has been dyed 8 times, which is more than usual.

In addition, we have strived to reproduce as many of the unique details found in the vintage pieces we own as possible.

The coin pocket is placed lower than usual.

We have reproduced the unique characteristics of the original piece, such as the wide belt loops, similar to those from the war era, and the misaligned back yoke on the left and right.

We assumed that the misalignment of the back yoke was a contrivance of the time to avoid putting tension on the fabric and sewing thread as much as possible, and we reproduced it taking that intention into consideration.

For the leather patch, we intentionally use rough horse leather, creating a patch that is difficult to print on and has individual differences, just like back then.

We used white-painted iron buttons, just like the vintage ones.

This is a sample worn by our store staff for about 11 months. It has been washed about 5 times, but due to the high dye concentration, it shows a strong contrast with the dark navy.

These are baker pants made from "herringbone twill" fabric,

which was adopted in 1947.

※ What is herringbone?

"Herringbone" =

"herring (fish)" and "bone"

The pattern resembles the bones of a herring

when it is opened up, hence the name.

Baker pants were worn on the battlefield,

but also during desk work.

It is also said that the pants were worn by bakers,

which is why they are called "baker pants."

Since they are made of herringbone twill fabric,

they are thick and durable.

Also, since they are 100% cotton, you can enjoy

the aging process as you wear them repeatedly.
