ヴィンテージミシンを何台も使用して製作したTシャツ~Flagship Store~

T-shirts made with multiple vintage sewing machines - Flagship Store -

Thank you for always visiting us.

Today, we'd like to introduce a very popular T-shirt that sells out at an incredible rate every time it's released, and this season's release is already starting to run out of sizes.

Allow us to introduce this special item.

USMC Loopwheel Tee【AG94243】

This is the USMC LOOPWHEEL TEE.

It's a faithful reproduction of a 1940s U.S.M.C COTTON T-SHIRT, right down to the original sewing specifications.

At JELADO, this item is produced using multiple vintage sewing machines by Mr. Ono of Rebuilt, who is also known for our silver tag and brutal fleece items, and this season's Dugout Trousers.

It comes in three colors: Vanilla, Marine Green, and Black.

This fabric is made using a loopwheel knitting machine in Wakayama, and it's characterized by its ability to freely adjust not only the yarn count and needle gauge, but also the texture.

Unlike modern high-speed knitting machines, it can produce the desired texture without putting unnecessary tension on the yarn.

This time, we achieved a moderate thickness and soft feel by increasing the density without compromising the yarn's tension.

Cotton thread is used for the basic sewing, and silk thread is used for the decorative stitching on the back of the collar (the outer "swing" stitch) to enhance strength and stretch.

Three types of rare vintage sewing machines are used for stitching.

FLATLOCK is used for base stitching (shoulder seams and sleeve seams).

This is a representative flat sewing machine used for underwear since the early 20th century, and it is a valuable model that was active until around the 1960s.

It is characterized by its slightly angular seams, which differ from those of U.S. flat seamers.

The UNION SPECIAL 52800 is used for the collar binding.

This high-speed, semi-automatic lubrication machine, born in the late 1930s, achieves double-sided decorative stitching with two parallel needles. It reduces collar bulk and combines a comfortable feel with durability.

Furthermore, the UNION SPECIAL G76000 is used for the hem stitching.

This historical sewing machine, which dates back to the era of wool shirts, faithfully reproduces the unique hem appearance of vintage T-shirts.

In this way, by combining Rebuilt's excellent sewing techniques with rare vintage sewing machines, we have created a special piece that pursues "authentic comfort and appearance" rather than production efficiency.

This T-shirt is a favorite among our staff for its exceptional comfort.

Once you wear it, you'll be hooked. Many customers own multiple pieces, buying additional ones in the same color or trying out other colors.

Since each T-shirt is made by a single person, mass production is not possible every year.

If you're interested this season, be sure to check it out early.
