Today, we're introducing the Mountain Man sweatshirt, completed with the cooperation of Riding High.

This is an incredibly elaborate item, knitted on a rare jacquard knitting machine, of which only two exist in the world. Today, we'll delve into the cardigan type of this Mountain Man.

Mountain Man is a very special project, aimed at perfectly reproducing the fabric of an underwear piece nearly 100 years old, which our representative discovered at a flea market in Paris.

And here is the perfectly reproduced fabric we created this time.

First, the face yarn is charcoal grey heather yarn, the middle yarn is ecru, and the back yarn combines two different thicknesses, then knitted on a jacquard knitting machine. This creates the unique unevenness that resembles a stripe pattern.

After that, the fabric is overdyed red. This dyes the ecru face yarn and the brushed back yarn red, creating a look that is indistinguishable from vintage fabric.

The 16.1oz heavy-weight fabric recreates the unique vintage texture through brushing and overdyeing.

The design follows the highly sought-after salt-and-pepper collared cardigan, with charcoal grey切り替え added to the twisted yarn jacquard stripe body.

The stitching uses two needles, beautifully tailored despite the thick fabric, and the cuffs are finished with circular knitting.

This piece condenses the charm of vintage items with meticulously selected materials and precise stitching, so please experience this exquisite sweatshirt cardigan unique to JELADO.
