~"Last Resort White Tag"~
When it comes to white tag denim jackets,
you're all familiar with this one.
JELADO 55Denim Jacket 406XX Size 34(XS)~40(L) 【JP94406】
JELADO 55Denim Jacket 406XX Size 42(XL)~44(XXL) 【JP94406D】
JELADO 55Denim Jacket 406XX Big Size【JP94406DD】
Our "Second" type jacket
is also very popular, receiving rave reviews
at both JELADO stores and online.
Among classic American casual "denim items,"
I think this one garners particular attention.
Not only is it great with denim, but its
versatility with other items is high, and for customers
who don't own a denim jacket, I'd really like them to have one...
It's that kind of item.
Please take a look at WEST Yamamoto's
55 denim jacket 406XX, worn for two and a half years.
While there's overall fading,
the puckering and honeycombing really give it
a vintage feel.
The jacket has a cool, natural fade
with a resort-like blue tint.
We have a sample of this at WEST, so
please come and see it.
Thank you.
〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜
【Pre-order Item, Arriving Early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
The USMC M44 Monkey Pants are pants issued to the Marine Corps,
and they are a popular item in the vintage industry
known by their nickname "Monkey Pants."
The origin of their name is this...
Large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were adopted for carrying a "poncho,"
and the flaps were added to prevent the contents
from falling out.
These pockets are said to resemble a monkey's rump,
which is why they are called "Monkey Pants."
The production period for the M44
was actually very short, only "1 year and 3 months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, because they were issued to the "elite few"
of the U.S. Marine Corps,
the overall production volume was low, leading to
quite high prices in the vintage market.
The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps
actually wore them include...
・The Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb 19 - Mar 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar 26 - Sep 7, 1945).
Also, after World War II,
・The Korean War (Jun 25, 1950 - Jul 27, 1953)
they seem to have been widely worn.
Jelado's Monkey Pants feature
herringbone material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.
And the buttons are doughnut buttons,
which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them consistently, you can enjoy
their aging process.
They pair well with native-patterned half-length coats,
leather jackets... and even
coveralls, having excellent compatibility.
I also recommend pairing them with a chambray shirt.
Please make your reservations at the store or online.
Thank you.

~Regarding Hemming of Brought-in Items~
Both JELADO stores accept hemming for "denim from other brands" if
you bring them to the store. However, since we have seen an increase in hemming requests for items purchased in-store or online,
we are currently unable to accommodate "hemming of other brands' items brought in by customers." We apologize for any inconvenience.
・Hemming of "JELADO products purchased from our dealers" that you enjoy wearing will be charged.
*We will continue to accept hemming for JELADO products purchased directly from JELADO.
