Today, I'd like to introduce JELADO's

"Mexican Rings."

Base: Silver

Top/Sides: Brass

For JELADO's Mexican rings,

we use "brass" for the top and sides.

However, vintage rings often use copper,

which can crack or chip with use,

leading to durability issues. That's why JELADO's

Mexican rings

are made with brass.

With prolonged use, the ring will age beautifully,

and its appearance will change,

revealing a different look than when it was purchased.

We highly recommend it.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜

【Pre-order item, arriving early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】

When we talk about USMC M44 Monkey Pants,

they were trousers issued to the Marine Corps,

and are popular vintage items

affectionately known as "Monkey Pants."

The origin of their name is as follows...

They feature large, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.

These large pockets were designed to hold ponchos,

and the flaps were added

to prevent the contents from falling out.

Because these pockets resemble a monkey's hindquarters,

they are called "Monkey Pants."

The M44 was produced for a very short period of time,

just "1 year and 3 months,"

from July 1944 to around October 1945.

Additionally, because they were issued to the

"elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,

the overall production volume was low, which is why they are

traded at quite high prices in the vintage market.

The periods when the U.S. Marine Corps

actually wore them include:

・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 – Mar. 26, 1945)

・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 – Sep. 7, 1945).

Also, after World War II,

・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 – Jul. 27, 1953)

It seems they were worn extensively during these times.

Jelado's Monkey Pants use herringbone material.

Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dyes.

And the buttons are donut buttons,

which also create a vintage feel.

By wearing them consistently, you can enjoy their aging process.

With Native-patterned half-length coats,

Leather jackets... and even with

Coveralls, they pair extremely well.

I also recommend pairing them with chambray shirts.
