The French work blouse, featuring The 2 Monkeys' first original fabric, has arrived.
The 2 Monkeys French Work Blouse 【TM21461】
The brand's standard item, the French work blouse, is designed based on a photograph likely taken in France in the late 19th century.
Some theories suggest that French jackets, with details similar to Levi's denim jackets, are the origin of the denim jacket.
The body features large gathers, allowing for a generous silhouette.
A welcome detail not found in denim jackets is the handwarmer.
The original fabric created for this item is a sulfur-dyed twill with a dotted discharge print in a grid pattern.
Since sulfur-dyed fabric fades with wear and washing, we look forward to seeing how it changes over time.
