French setup

We have been receiving many inquiries about Michel and Vannes since their appearance in the Lightning catalogue.

 

 

 

 

The jacket is based on a 40s French work jacket made from moleskin.

The pants are based on moleskin work pants that were made around the same time period, around the 50s.

 

This is a great setup for when the weather suddenly gets cooler or hotter, like it is now!

 

Of course, you can use them separately.

 

As you can see, this is a versatile piece that can be paired with either a cut-and-sew top or a shirt underneath.

The fabric used is 6w thick corduroy.

The woven cloth is air-tanned, with a process that involves blowing air at a speed of 60kph to loosen the fibres and give it a worn-in feel. This means that the garment will have a worn-in, soft touch from the very start, and you can enjoy the subtle creases right from the start.

 

Vannes has been on the market since last spring, and the sophisticated, relaxed silhouette with tapered hems is extremely popular.

 

Pairing it with leather shoes will give you a very neat, classic and stylish look!

It would also be great to pair this with sportif boots!

 

The length isn't too long, so if you're tall, you can wear it a bit short and pair it with sneakers!

 

And because these kinds of details have been kept, I think there will be something interesting for people who like the vintage style too!
