JELADO's classic Union Workers Shirt was sampled from store-brand, dry-textured heavy flannel from the 70s onwards.

In contrast, the farmer's shirt we are introducing this time is based on the very soft flannel shirts from before the 50s.

It is a representative brand of flannel shirts from before the 50s.We sampled Pilgrim vintages.As with the Last Resort Denim, we cut precious vintage flannel shirts with scissors to analyze the fabric and recreate them in detail. The color is almost identical to the vintage version.

Available in two colors: Salmon Raw (red) and Mint (green).

After analyzing the fabric, we found that this vintage item has a verticalIt was found that there were notable characteristics such as the difference in thread and weft count and the small number of threads. And above all, it was clear that very long fiber yarn was used for the weft. This was the secret of the supple texture of the fabric. This was something that could not be discovered without putting scissors to it.

Based on the results of analyzing vintage items, we used thicker, longer fiber threads for the weft compared to the warp threads for this item. It is generally said that the longer the fiber length of the thread, the more luxurious and comfortable the fabric will be. Thanks to this, we were able to create a blissful flannel fabric that feels like a fluffy blanket.

 

We also pay special attention to the dyeing process, using sulfur dyes, which will age with wear, giving the garment a unique vintage look.
