The temperature has dropped quite a bit, and many of you are probably starting to look for winter clothes.

So, today we'd like to introduce "Van Nuys," a Pharaoh jacket with a rare, understated color and pattern perfect for autumn and winter.

50s vintage items continue to soar in price, and the Pharaoh jacket is one of the most iconic outerwear pieces among them.

This piece aims to replicate a rare vintage wool pique material owned by our company.

We wove a ribbed wool pique using two types of twisted melange yarn (1/6.5 and 1/6) for the raised parts, 2/7 yarn for the recessed parts, and 1/7 thick yarn blended with nylon for added durability in the weft.

We also paid close attention to the fabric finishing process. We carefully washed it at a low temperature for a short time to avoid excessive揉み込み (rubbing/kneading), resulting in a tweed finish with moderate shrinkage.

Following vintage designs, the piping on the pockets is made of rayon.

We custom-produced multi-colored ribs that are rarely seen in the vintage market today.

While many Pharaoh jackets use quilting for the lining, this item features a comfortable striped lining. Combined with the jacket's subdued outer color and texture, it creates a very classic impression.

With a slightly relaxed fit around the shoulders and body, it also works well as an outer layer over a denim jacket. Denim jackets have a shorter wearing season than jeans, so they don't fade easily. However, by wearing it as an inner layer like this, you can wear it for longer, and the friction with the outer layer will also promote fading.
