41 Khaki Lastresort Chino Cloth【AG94341A】
Price ¥33,000 (tax included)
Khaki
Olive
The 41 Khaki in khaki and olive have been restocked.
Similar to our Last Resort Denim, this material was meticulously crafted by deconstructing carefully selected vintage M41 KHAKIs. We thoroughly recreated the original production background and technical capabilities of the time, focusing on thread thickness, unevenness, twist count, and twist direction.
The unevenness is not too strong nor too weak, reproducing a natural slub yarn.
While previous materials were dyed with reactive dyes, this time we used vat dyes, which were used back then.
Compared to modern reactive dyes, vat dyes were of lower quality, but for dyes around the 1950s, they were highly resistant to light, friction, and sunlight, making them quite superior for their time. They were apparently used for tough materials like workwear and towels.
To allow for the same aging process as back then, we used American cotton, shuttle looms, and vat dyes. Each wash brings out a fabric texture reminiscent of vintage pieces, so we believe you'll enjoy JELADO's new 41 KHAKI.
LASTRESORT CHINO CLOTH is the ultimate chino cloth, meticulously crafted with attention to every detail: raw cotton, yarn, weave, and dye.
We have reproduced characteristic features such as the offset belt loops and the 2mm wide double-welt pockets, just like vintage originals.
_While pockets usually use pocket lining fabric, we used a separate chino fabric, just like the vintage we sampled.
The strong puckering on the side seams adds to the rugged impression when worn, complementing the extra-wide silhouette.
The stitch count is also matched to the pitch of the era, creating a classic 41 Khaki feel.
It features a deep rise and a wide thigh silhouette.
This is a recommended pair that goes well with denim jackets and flannel shirts. We encourage you to try on their comfortable fit.
Thank you for your positive feedback on both colors.
We don't expect the olive color to be restocked for a while as there are no plans for future production, so please take this opportunity to try it.

For those seeing this for the first time, I will explain it again.
"LASTRESORT DENIM," JELADO's finest masterpiece, is a wild and highly vintage-inspired denim.
This is JELADO's first 1ST TYPE denim jacket, featuring a black tag.
This season, we've changed the fabric from the 1ST model, which was originally made with ecru white tag, to reproduce it in indigo with a black tag.
The black tag of LASTRESORT DENIM is sewn inside the pocket. This is a special 15oz denim created with a new approach, different from the white tag, reproduced from denim that was deconstructed and analyzed from DEADSTOCK XX.
The distinctive features of the 1st type, such as the single pocket with flap, single-sided tab, five buttons, inward cuff buttons, and back strap, are all faithfully reproduced.
When dividing this 1st type into early and late periods, the early period had a pin-buckle, and the box stitching securing the pleats was offset from the button height. This jacket similarly alters the button and stitch height, and the back strap also reproduces the early pin-buckle.
Since the black tag was created for fabric from before the 1940s, it follows a similar era approach.
Compared to the 2nd Type, features like the collar attachment being separated left and right, and the sleeve attachment forming a T-shape when laid flat, have been adopted to a comfortable extent.
Similar to our vintage pieces, the lap-seamed sections are sewn with No. 20 thread and the plain-seamed sections with No. 30 thread.
The leather patch is made of horsehide, and it is meticulously crafted with a single-sided embroidered rayon tab, original iron buttons with plating, and original solid copper rivets.
Due to production specifications, sizes L and above, where fabric width is insufficient, will feature a T-back design.

~LASTRESORT BLACK TAG~
This is the ultimate denim, created by deconstructing original DEAD STOCK pieces and using a specific analysis institution to determine cotton fiber length, yarn thickness, twist count, and fabric density. We selected raw cotton that matched these values from two DEAD STOCK pieces of similar age, spun the yarn, and wove it on a 1950s loom with the same thread count.
Creating this denim allowed us to deeply understand the characteristics of XX denim from that era, including yarn quality, fabric feel, and differences from modern denim.
Within this mission to reproduce XX, if I were to discuss a specific process that we intentionally hadn't touched upon, it would be "color."
The LASTRESORT black tag was created to reproduce the vintage-like color and the texture and hue of denim woven under conditions where spinning technology was less advanced and yarn quality was poorer than today.
We used the same raw cotton for both warp and weft as the white tag (warp: EMOT, weft: California Pima) to create the yarn. However, we specifically processed the warp to make the yarn slubs more prominent, creating a stronger unevenness.
This denim jacket is also particular about its material.
By making the slubs more prominent, we can achieve longer vertical fading.
Looking at the vintage pieces we targeted, the dullness or prominence of the weft color was noticeable. The cotton color of the time looked more like a yellowish ecru than pure white.
Considering this depth of color, we decided to spin the yarn, dye it, and then weave the fabric.
By changing the dyeing factory from the white tag, we achieved a completely different color.
The height of the rope and the dyeing process differ between factories, so the resulting color also changes.
And due to this difference in process, the white tag became 14OZ and the black tag became 15OZ, resulting in a change in fabric weight.
Furthermore, by intentionally dyeing it deeply 8 times, we achieved a darker, deeper blue denim. We decided to use this denim's deep color and wild, uneven texture as the "LASTRESORT DENIM Black Tag" model, aiming for a more heritage feel.
While it has a wilder appearance and fabric touch, after just two days of wear, it transforms into a soft, smooth, stress-free feel, similar to the white tag.
Stock is becoming limited for each size.
Please take this opportunity to try it out.
Thank you for reading to the end today.
