Today, we'd like to introduce an item that has been released numerous times by JELADO and has always been a big hit. It's back after six years!

 

Salem Coat【AG12420】

 

The Salem Coat has arrived.

To reiterate, the 2025 collection theme is "THE CREAM OF THE CACHE."

This is a coined term meaning "the finest collection," and it's a project to reproduce the best vintage items carefully selected from JELADO's treasured collection over the course of a year.

Among these, the SALEM COAT, being released for the first time in six years, is a particularly noteworthy item.

 

This time, to revive the same pattern with multiple colors as before,we specially recreated a super vintage blanket fabric.

For the material, we adopted a double-sided napped jacquard blanket made from a blend of 92% wool and 8% nylon, faithfully reproducing a super rare blanket fabric from around the 1920s.

The black-based color scheme, in particular, is a valuable design that is almost impossible to find on the vintage market.

As for the fabric's characteristics,the warp uses 40/2 count yarn made from 100% Australian Merino wool.

Although the raw material is originally spun at 2/48, it is intentionally spun at 2/40,maximizing the quality of the yarn despite its thick count.

This specification is called "Level-Up Wool."

For the weft,we use 5-count single yarn blended with Australian Merino wool, with a composition of 90% wool and 10% nylon, blending several carefully selected wool raw materialsto achieve a yarn quality similar to British wool, which has firmness and resilience.

The blend of nylon provides both strength and softness to the fabric.

The length is just right, neither too long nor too short, making it an easy-to-wear coat.
