We've received some unique items from JELADO Dry Goods.

JELADO Dry Goods CAMP HALE M-42【JDG13422】

This is a special parka made from fabric disassembled from a vintage 1940s US ARMY sleeping bag.

The base model was used by the mountain troops that were formed at the US Army base built in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, commonly known as Camp Hale. In 1939, after Finnish soldiers repelled Soviet forces on skis, the US military seemingly recognized the need for mountain troops.

This time, we based it on a pullover type with a zipper front and no fur around the collar. While faithfully retaining the original specifications, we improved the hood area to be larger. The length balance was also adjusted to be longer to fulfill its function as a rain parka.

Because there is a significant variation in color among the disassembled sleeping bags, a patchwork-like style was adopted. Each item is unique, with individual differences.

Also, although the original sleeping bag fabric was water-repellent, the treatment had deteriorated after 80 years. Therefore, the fabric for this product was re-treated with a water-repellent finish.

This item is packed with JELADO Dry Goods' uniqueこだわり (commitment/attention to detail). Since each piece is one-of-a-kind with individual differences, please come and see it in person at our store.
