~Aging of Engineer Boots~

JELADO the BOOTED ENGINEER BOOT BLACK (Teacore) [JB94901]

With a single leather sole,

low heel, instep that hits the counter pocket, and thick shaft...

We've taken a vintage boot with details not found in boots of the same era,

such as a backward-curving buckle, pointed strap ends,

and a gusset sewn onto the opening later,

and modified the last, removed the toe cap,

and made adjustments to the base of the ankle strap and other areas.

These engineer boots use teacore horse butt leather.

These photos show the aging after nearly two months of wear.

With consistent wear, wrinkles have formed,

and the underlying brown color has emerged where the boots rub,

resulting in engineer boots with an exceptional character.
