The 2Monkeys ”AUGUSTUS”Sandal Camel"Waxed"【TM82952】

The leather used for the 'upper' and 'footbed' of these AUGUSTUS sandals is horsebutt, but they come from different regions.

 

The upper part uses leather from Shinki Hikaku, and by shrinking it, each piece has a unique grain pattern.

 

The footbed uses horsebutt from Italy's Maryam tannery.

 

The constricted part of the footbed is where the arch of the foot rests, and this shape is adopted because the contact area is small.

 

The AUGUSTUS, which incorporates two manufacturing methods, is a very rare sandal, adopting both the 'Stitch-down method' and the 'McKay method'.

 

The sole uses Vibram. These elegant sandals are unmatched elsewhere... Please try them on in-store.

 

*The BROWN is finished with 'oil', giving it a moist texture.

 

*The CAMEL is finished with 'white wax', which brings out the textured leather surface, allowing you to enjoy its appearance.
