~Western shirt faithfully recreating the vintage feel~
Good evening.
Today, I'd like to introduce a recommended product that just arrived recently.

Vaquero Shirt【JP11115】

This is a Short Horn denim western shirt, which has become difficult to obtain.

The color of the sewing thread is reproduced to match our vintage pieces, and it's made with rainbow stitching.
The snap buttons are also custom-made rivet-style snap buttons from that era.

In addition, the fabric is made of about 5 oz denim, making it light and comfortable to wear.
When it's chilly, you can wear a mega thermal inner layer, and in warmer weather, it looks great on its own.

It's an item that easily incorporates the charm of vintage fashion into everyday styling.

As you wear it, the texture of the fabric will improve, so you can enjoy its aging.
It's a piece that can be worn in all four seasons, so I highly recommend it.
Please try it on at the store.

〜USMC M44 Monkey Pants〜
【Pre-order item: Expected arrival early March】Monkey Trousers【CT11344】
Speaking of USMC M44 Monkey Pants,
these pants were issued to the Marine Corps,
and are a popular item in the vintage industry
known as "Monkey Pants."
The origin of their name is as follows...
Long, horizontal cargo pockets with flaps.
These large pockets were designed
to hold a "poncho,"
and the flaps were added
to prevent the contents from falling out.
These pockets are said to resemble the hindquarters of a monkey,
hence the name "Monkey Pants."
The production period for the M44 was
actually very short, just "1 year and 3 months,"
from July 1944 to around October 1945.
Also, since they were issued to the
"elite few" of the U.S. Marine Corps,
the overall production volume was small, so they are traded
at quite high prices in the vintage market.
The period during which the U.S. Marine Corps
actually wore them includes...
・Battle of Iwo Jima (Feb. 19 - Mar. 26, 1945)
・Around the Battle of Okinawa (Mar. 26 - Sep. 7, 1945).
Also, after World War II,
・Korean War (Jun. 25, 1950 - Jul. 27, 1953)
They seem to have been worn extensively during these times.
Jelado's Monkey Pants
use herringbone material.
Furthermore, they are dyed with vat dye.
And the buttons are donut buttons,
which also creates a vintage feel.
By wearing them consistently, you can enjoy
the aging process.
Native pattern half-length coats and
leather jackets... and even,
They pair very well with coveralls, and I also recommend
pairing them with chambray shirts.
Please make your reservation at the store or online.
Thank you.
