Today, I'd like to introduce a classic American casual style as a styling suggestion.

 

 

 

I'm wearing the Olive 41 Khaki, which is popular at both Jelado stores.

Here's a brief explanation of the 41 Khaki.

 

The Lastresort Chino Cloth 41 Khaki was created by cutting a vintage 41 Khaki,

analyzing the number and direction of twists, thread thickness, and slub shape,

and then producing the yarn from scratch.

 

*While vintage items are soaring in price, "cutting into them"

is an action that probably has its pros and cons,

but "Representative Goto" is the one who can do it, and I consider him a revolutionary.

 

It uses deep south American cotton to reproduce natural slub yarn.

 

While the previous 41 Khaki was "reactive dyed,"

this 41 Khaki is dyed with vat dye.

 

To reproduce the fabric texture of the time,

the fabric was produced on a shuttle loom.

 

The 41 Khaki, made with American cotton, shuttle loom, and vat dye,

is finished to preserve the atmosphere and fabric texture of the time.

 

The ultimate chino pants, meticulously crafted in terms of raw cotton, yarn, weaving, and dyeing...

The 407EXX features a split back (what is now called a T-back) from size L upwards.

 

Among the highly sought-after 1st type jackets,

this split back is a coveted detail.

 

Here's a brief explanation of the 407EXX.

 

In 1945, after World War II ended,

"material controls" were lifted.

This allowed Levi's to revert to the details from before material controls,

but there was one problem: the fabric.

 

Levi's factories had leftover denim fabric that was used for wartime models. *There were also leftover accessory materials.

 

Prioritizing using up the leftover fabric before using new denim fabric,

Levi's continued to produce 501XX and 506XX with this leftover fabric for two full years from the end of the war in 1945, until it was all used up.

 

The 1947 501XX and 506XX, which used new denim fabric,

returned to the pre-material control form.

*Some details were also eliminated.

 

The 1947 501XX is regarded as the "masterpiece" in LEVI'S 501XX history.

 

The reason is that many brands used the 1947 501XX as a sample, and it was highly regarded and popular as denim.

However, the 1947 model, often called the masterpiece, actually has early and late versions, and the late version, which reverted to the original details, is the one referred to.
