Since its announcement, we have received a great number of inquiries about the Last Resort Gold Tag denim. Now, reservations for the War Model set-up using this denim have finally begun.
This time, we'd like to focus on the fabric of this ultimate Gold Tag denim.

Last Resort Gold Tag Denim
Approximately five years after the announcement of Last Resort, the ultimate "Gold Tag" War Model has been completed.
The warp threads are made from 100% U.S. cotton from the Deep South. Leveraging our experience with blue tags, we use three types of yarn counts—No. 6, No. 7, and No. 8—to create subtle irregularities in the warp.
Pure indigo is used for dyeing, and rope dyeing is applied to ensure the core remains white, just like vintage denim. As you wear it, the indigo on the surface gradually fades, allowing you to enjoy a high-contrast fade.

For the weft threads, which are the back side of the denim and touch the skin, we use the highest-grade extra-long staple cotton, "Suvin Gold Supreme."
Cotton fiber length is generally classified into three types: "short-staple cotton (21mm or less)", "medium-staple cotton (21mm to less than 28mm)", and "long-staple cotton (28mm or more)". "Extra-long staple cotton," which doesn't fit into these classifications, has a fiber length of 35mm or more and accounts for only 5% of all cotton.
Among such extra-long staple cottons, "Suvin Gold Supreme" boasts a fiber length of 38mm. Even regular Suvin cotton is considered high-grade, but Suvin Gold is said to be closer to the original species and of higher quality.
Among them, "Suvin Gold Supreme" is the cotton closest to its original species and boasts the highest quality. Its distribution is strictly controlled by the Indian government, and it is rarely available on the market.
It is the culmination of Last Resort to date, combining the comfort of the silver tag, which also uses "Suvin Gold Supreme," the random vertical fading of the blue tag, and the ruggedness of the black tag.
